Welome to my fourth art auction, which will run from August 15 to September 3.

This time around I'm doing a special two slot auction


I am offering a full body, full colour CG portrait of your avatar in your choice of colouring styles. A simple background may be requested (gradients, fills, patterns, shapes, borders.)




I am offering a lineart shoulders-up portrait of your avatar. No shading, no background.

This is very long, but please, don't be scared. I just like to cover all my bases. You don't have to read it all, but you will find a lot of useful info here. whee

Details and options:

• Fanart and original characters will be considered if requested, but must be pre-approved by me. You must provide me with a reference of some sort, images are better than written descriptions.
  
  
• Simple backgrounds include geometirc shapes, pattern brushes, fills, gradients, text and stock photos (I will only use photos that either you or I own the rights to, nothing ripped from Google.)
  
  
• You may request text to be added to your artwork (Your avatar's name, a quote etc)
  
  
• Simple poses only. If you have an action pose in mind you can ask, but I reserve the right to decline and ask you to request a different pose.
  
  
• Winners will receive a sig sized copy of their artwork (no bigger than 500x500) and a large copy.
  
  
• All lineart will be done with pencil and ink and then scanned, no oekaki or pixel art, unless you're willing to pay crazy amounts of gold for it. It is too time consuming.
  
  
• I will provide you with progress images at important stages - once the pencils are done, once the inking is done, and various times throughout the colouring process.
  
  
• I will work with you to make sure you get a piece you are happy with - but please request modifications when sent progress images. I will not re-draw major parts of the image after it has been inked, I will not make major modifications to the line art after I have started colouring.
  

Things to consider before bidding:

• You need to be patient. I will get your art done, but it will take me some time, expect to wait at least a month. I work full time, will be going to school full time and also mod, so I have a busy schedule. Occassional requests for updates are more than welcome if I haven't sent you one in a while, but if you plan to PM every two days don't bother bidding.
  
  
• The more creative control you give me, the better your art will be. I promise I will turn out a high quality piece of art for you, but when I have a measure of creative control I enjoy creating the piece more. The best thing you can do is give me a reference picture, a general idea of what you want the image to feel like, and then trust me to create something nice for you
  
  
• I draw women much better than I draw men. I can and will do men if requested, but if you want some huge bulked out Dragonball Z styled guy then you're looking at the wrong artist.
  
  
• I prefer trades to be completed before I start the artwork. I believe I have established myself as a trustworthy member of the community, so you can be sure I won't take your gold and run.
  

Bidding Info:

• I can almost guarantee that it won't happen, but I reserve the right to extend or cancel this auction. I won't do it just because the bids aren't high enough, but sometimes real life happens.
  
  
• Minimum bid increments of 1k. If this goes over 100k, the minimum bid increment will be raised to 2k.
  
  
• If your bid contains items, please esitmate their value based on mid-Lucky Devil prices. Acceptable store items are worth 80% of their store value.

  Other bids will definetely be considered.
  
  
• Serious bidders only. If you must withdraw your bid you'd better have a very good reason for it.
  
  
• Anti-sniping rules in effect. The auction will wind down at 11:59pm EST September 3. Bids will be accepted within five minutes of each other after 11:59 in case of a bidding war. Final bid will be declared once five minutes has passed since the last bid.
  
  
• Ask questions before bidding. Do not PM me with bids, but you may PM me with questions.
  

Usage and Licence:

• My artwork remains copyrighted to me.
  
  
• By commissioning me, you will be grated a licence to this artwork.
  You may:
  
  • Use the artwork in your sig and on your personal website.
    
  • Create hardcopy prints for personal use.
    
  • Edit the artwork as a design element while maintaining the integrity of the artwork. (As part of a layout for your website, crop it and use it as part of a banner or sig etc.)
  
  You may not:
  • Remove my signature from the artwork.
    
  • Modify the artwork in a significant way (changing colours, adding or removing visual elements - no changing your hair colour and drawing on a pair of wings in MSPaint kind of thing)
    
  • Resell or profit off it in any way.
    
  • Claim credit for, or disguse the source of the artwork. Give me the credit I deserve.
  
  
• I will not resell digital copies of your image, however I do reserve the right to include it in my portfolio and sell prints of the image (I probably never will.)
  

I don't have much time to keep up with bumping this thread, so there will be a small prize for the top bumper at the end of the auction. Your choice of a simple chibi sketch or 2k.

All bumps must be numbered. Only reasonable bumps will be counted. That means only bump this thread when it needs to be bumped to keep it on page 1.

If I find anyone bumping every minute in the dead of the night when it takes half an hour for threads to fall of page 1, they will be disqualified.
