Sephiroth was in a foul mood. He was surrounded by twittering idiots, some of them sparkly and rainbow colored no less! Was it too much to ask to have someone who wouldn't drive him out of his gourd? Okay, maybe Rei wasn't too bad but she was currently out toasting a turtle. Flapping his large wings once, he coasted on the air currents for a while before spying a dark shape on a fallen tree branch. A wicked smirk crossing his features, he flew at it at full speed, intending to do some hunting.

He blinked as he felt something brush past him. Did his prey just try to strike at him? How amusing! Eyes sparking with interest, he wheeled back around to find a dark colored Blath looking none too please with him.

He landed on the ground, furling his wings gracefully as he did so, circling the other Blath with assessing eyes. "Nice swipe...for a female."

His smile widened, baring gleaming pointy fangs. This was going to be interesting indeed! "What's a pretty little Blath like you doing out here all alone? Aren't you afraid you'll be gobbled up, a small thing like you? Oh, but you must be one of those ones that think they can manage on their own. How...cute." His voice was silky as his circles became smaller around the other Blath, each step precise in its movement.

"I'll give you that, I did miss, but I rarely ever make the same mistake twice."

"Do you want me to claw you then?" He leaned in close, his nose barely brushing her fur. Surprisingly, he didn't scent fear on her at all and her smoothed out fur made him quirk a brow. He'd give her credit for not showing fear though. Either she was stupid or she wasn't really afraid of him. This was definitely a novel reaction.

"And just because you're not easy doesn't mean you're invincible either." His voice was smooth, an almost warm chuckle issuing from him at her actions with the sprite. His own sprite chittered at the other before darting away, as if trying to herd it away from their respective Blath.

"And I hate it when things are easy. I like challenges."

His smirk was pronounced and wide, his mako-colored eyes sparkling devlishly as he continued the ever-tightening circle, occasionally brushing against her almost teasingly. He liked how she wasn't afraid to speak her mind, but he wondered how far she would actually go. His interest was definitely piqued by her spirit. He jerked his head at Shinra, directing the sprite to take off and take the other one with it ASAP. He didn't want her distracted after all.

"Oh, then is all this confidence just for show then? It seemed you had no doubt in your abilities...."

Shinra darted at the other sprite, nudging it with its head to push it away from the two bantering Blath, insistent with its increasingly loud chittering at it. It so did not want to be there when these two Blath got intense.

"Oh, you noticed?" He lifted abrow, quirking it at her almost playfully.

Sephiroth let out a low, rumbling purr at her antics, reciprocating her flick with a brush of one ebony wing against her side, the downy soft feathers surprisingly light.

"And if I requested a demonstration of your abilities? What would you reveal to me, pretty one?" His eyes seemed to glow in intensity. His blood was racing, as was his mind. This was quite the unique encounter with one of his kind ad he would have to admit the female was definitely riveting.

He gave a small snap of his jaws, sharp teeth clicking together audibly at her last remark. "You looked like quite the delectable morsel, I'll have to admit, and now that I've had the chance to talk to you, you're quite...spicy." He winked, a gesture that would have sent other Blath running for their lives because of the sheer uncharacteristic move on his part.
