Yes we all know about global warming but as any of you who have seen "The Day After Tomorrow" know what happened in that movie is happening as we speak. In the past ten years the North Atlantic current has slowed by 30% and if the water in it becomes to fresh, hello new ice age.
Here are some things to prove it:
-Deadly Cold Winters on the east coast of the USA followed by summer heat waves.
-Before the last ice age it was so dry that forest in the west burned to the ground and that is exactly whats happening today.
-Last winter NY got there biggest blizzard since record keeping began.
-In the winter of 2004-2005 was one of the coldest winters on record.
-Quite a few glaciers in Siberia, Norway, and Alaska are advancing.
-Only Greenlands edges are melting and its vast interior is thickening by a few inches a year.
-Only the antarctic peninsula is melting while the majority of it is thickening and expanding.
-Last winter places such as florida, alabama, and new orleans saw SNOW!!

Instead of talking about death and ice-ages, talk about how to stop it! I thought this guild was to help stop global warming, but apparently it is just to scare everyone and make them think we're gonna die.

what the hell are you talking about that in florida it snowed?! i live in florida, this has been one our warmest winter's on record! we had like three days of somewhat cold temperature and that was it, for most of winter break i wore bermudas and a t-shirt... maybe upnorth, but that's not a big deal, it get's pretty cold in northern florida every year. I mean i agree that at the rate global warming is going a warm air current in the atlantic will stop, causing Europe to enter an ice age. Your right, heat is not the only effect of global warming..

We can protest all we want, but ultimately the power to change lies within the reach of important politicians and Bush. To change the world, we must first change who runs it....so this is all we can do. By the way, yes that's what we talk about, but it's the truth and unless we change quickly, our "prophecy" will become a very inconveniant reality...

We live in a representative republic, not a democrasy.Just thought I shoudl throw that in there.
