These maps are from a meteorologist that works with the Farmers Almanac, the almanac is 80-85% accurate!Fall: Winter: Ps. You'll probably say "How is this possible with global warming?" well let me explain, first of all theres a La Nina developing which equals snowy winters for east and parts of the midwest, also as of now we are at a solar minimum, which, wont happen again until 2010, and of course a solar minimum makes conditions favorable for cold weather and wintery conditions.

I hope it snows where i live, I have not made a good snow fort since '04. But I do not want "chilly" temperatures untill after november 3 because I stop running then. (yeah I am picky about my weather)

So if chilly means pretty damn cold, what does cool and frosty mean? 20 below? or snowy and stormy?

Lulianii So if chilly means pretty damn cold, what does cool and frosty mean? 20 below? or snowy and stormy? Well there the south so cool for them would be anywhere from low 60's to 20's. Frosty is implying that there suppose to suffer the four major frost that are predicted to strike the east.

Lulianii i totally did not get that, but how does anything survive 4 major frosts? Well, plants such as flowers and shrubs, and small trees have no chance of survival. sweatdrop

Look at this, were in a solar minimum right now, its about as bad as the blizzard year of '96.... I think this proves that this winter is going to ROCK DA HAUS!

even though the solar minimum is at a low, it could mean alot of damage to our enviroment. yeah, i still have that picture of the gigantic igloo i built during that storm...but what i remember, the huge snow drifts made it hard to even get out of the house! who knows how its gonna be this year. may be worse. especially since the world has been under such tourture in the past 11 years.

50degrees F is only like 11 or so degrees Celcius, and that's the average temperature for where I live, (In the first half of the day), but then again-- you american people probably have alot warmer weather.
