My only reason for thinkng this is that the Linkin' Park video, "What I've Done" has images of our worlds faults. The obesity in some countries, the starvation in others. I always thought that song was about Global Warming because of the line, "So let mercy come and wash away what I've done." Anyone else think that it could clean up our problems? I by no means want it, but if it does happen, there could be a plus side.

it really will just erase the old problems and create new ones. This could be either an improvement or an even bigger catastrophy.

It was just a thought. Forgive me for trying to see a little bit of possible good in the dark and gloom. Maybe its someones way of saying somethin. "Either fix your problems, or I will".

Or we could have Global Dimming instead which is slower but possibly worse then global warming. Shrug I dunno maybe everyone is freaking out to much about it.

there have been numerous debates on this subject, but not the view you're talking about.
some believe that global warming will be a good thing, the higher temperatures leading to more evaporation of the ocean, leading to more rain. more rain means more plants can thrive, leading to flourishing vegitation, better crops, and overall, an end to world hunger.
so it's a nice picture, but i believe that the negative outcomes are MUCH more likely than the positive.

most people who talk about global warming as an issue think its bad, though...and while plants thriving is a good thing, oceans evaporating is not..

Plants aren't thriving. They too are also dying out. Global warming is effecting plant life, animal life. All life.
