Alright, Because I've seen many villages die because they couldn't get enough members in the many villages, I'm only going to open the Konoha, Iwagakure, Kumogakure, Kirigakure, Sunagakure, and Otogakure till we get a sufficent number of members in each of those. After that, I'll start to open other villages.

Well, as of January 1st, the guild has been set to private (Now people can view the guild, but have to be members to post) and we are accepting join requests.

January 3rd, 2008 Whew! It's been a long day. I've been on for roughly 5 hours today working with the guild. Overall, I'm satisfied with the turnout, 16 members have been added already, and I've had the privilege to have some very promising members show themselves already. To all of you (You probably know who you are) thank you! Heh, I'm not finished yet, I'll be back to working! Oh yes, I've also decided that each ninja will have to pick an element for the chakra, just like the show features. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, here is a very thorough explanation from www.endless-naruto.com: Quote: Depending on the ratio in which physical and spiritual energy is mixed, different types of chakra can be formed. Elemental chakra is the most common product of this, and is used to perform elemental jutsu. The five elemental natures are earth, fire, lightning, water, and wind. Most ninja have a natural affinity to one type of chakra, but have the capacity to create elemental chakra apart from their own affinity. Each element is both stronger and weaker than another. The order is fire, wind, lightning, earth, and water, with each being weaker than the previous and stronger than the next. Water loops back into fire. Additionally, elemental techniques can be countered by techniques of the same element, provided the technique being countered is of equal or lesser power. Certain kekkei genkai can also create unique elements, such as wood and ice, through a mixture of the basic elements, which normal ninja are incapable of doing. While some ninja are capable of producing varied types of chakra, they can't do so simultaneously. It also mentions light and dark chakra, but doesn't elaborate on what they're used for. An example of dark chakra would be the Nara clan, as seen when Shikamaru uses chakra knives to absorb his chakra, and give it the same abilities as his Shadow Imitation Technique. Examples of light chakra haven't been given yet It's a lot to take in, so if there is any question, feel free to ask me or another mod. Oh, last announcement, almost forgot to add this, I've taken away the sound and any possibility of the Grass, snow, or rain village. These changes were thought about and discussed before the creation of the guild, but upon hearing it being suggested by someone else (That being Rednal), it made the decision much clearer. There has been another rule change. After much thought and discussion, I've decided to add a four line Minimum for all RP posts. The failure to do so will be as follows: 1st two offenses is a warning. The post that breaks the rule will be edited by a crew member, or myself, and changed to a bright, easily noticed color (Probably red, unless the post is already dead) and a post will be put after it, or as close after it as possible, stating the offense. The third time breaking the rule, will be YOUR choice, banning, suspension (haven't decided how long) , or taking a course in the RP school, which I've just added. 4th offense is immediate banning. I realize these rules are a bit rigid, and believe me, I've given quite a few people some breaks, but these rules a necessary to keep good looking boards, and an active, healthy, community. I hope you all embrace these rules as a change for the better, and try your best to abide by them. The only exceptions will be if it is mostly dialogue, and its a conversation. In which case the Min. is 3 lines. As of now, any post made after six P.M. on Jan 9th that breaks these rules, will be subject to these rules.

Jan. 23rd Been a while since I made an announcement. Well, the first matter of business is that I'd decided pets should have profiles. since many people have pets, I've decided that the skill of these pets should be concrete, rather then the RPers making up abilities and such as they went along. There'll be a separate form for the pets in the Profile section. If you have a pet, you must make the profile soon. On the matter of the four line Min. and 3 line min for a dialogue post, we need to be more careful. I've let a lot of these posts go by untouched, but we need to make sure we're getting the min. Oh, just a note, the pet profiles don't need to be sent to me. If your main profile is approved, I think I can trust your pet's profile will be appropriate as well. Just a reminder, your pet can't be stronger then it's owner.

Much to my dismay, my profile has been accused of, and banned, for "botting". The obvious reason being my dependency on my mules for gold. There is no reason for me to be making further excuses, the plain fact is, I've been banned, and have to start over. It might be a little bit of time before I get things running normally, but I'll do my best to speed that up as quickly as I can.

CRACKDOWN I've been incredibly loose on the line Min. VERY. now I have just distributed what will be the last warning for many members. I'm quite disappointed at the failure to meet the line Minimums. The people breaking the rules are not just getting close to the min, in most cases they are, or are just barely over, one line. This is inexcusable. As for those of you who have been abiding by the rules, thank you very much, your effort is appreciated. *Note* To get a post that fills exactly four lines requires nine and a half lines in the text box. If you're unsure of whether your posts meets the requirement, please check with a useful button located next to submit.

Activity check
I decided it's time to do an activity check. There are some villages with ninja, but they aren't doing anything, so I want to clear anyone who has no intention of doing anything out. It will start sometime later today, and end the same time the next week.
