Predominately asexual. Though he'd never admit it, however, he did feel a very slight attraction to his male best friend four years ago, who moved far away to another region. So he probably is a little bit on the gay side.
∟Birthplace →
Born in Blackthorn, Mercy was always around tough trainers, like Lance and Clair (-pokesfunatIliahn-), which made him feel inferior. Needless to say, he's gotten over that feeling now, from his quick progression after receiving his first pokemon, Chimecho.
∟Appearance →
Standing at five feet, seven inches tall, Mercy only weighs about 120-125 lbs. His hair is black and, as shown, reaches just below his shoulder blades in length. His eyes are a soft, pale blue, with whiteblue-ish specks. His skin is pale, due to his mother's side of the family, and he never tans or burns--even when spending time in the sun he doesn't seem to be affected by it. Probably because he's rarely even in said sunlight. His clothes, which are usually somewhat-baggy jeans held up by a belt, and longsleeve shirts or hoodies, keep his skin away from the sunlight most of the time.
∟Personality →
At first glance he seems quite a bit... loopy. He appears to be talking to himself at times, and even though he acts friendly, some of the things he says or does could be taken as quite morbid. He's always in the mood for an intelligent conversation, though if pushed to talk when he doesn't feel like talking, he'll snap and probably try to hurt whoever's bugging him.
∟Badges →
Mercy isn't exactly one who chases after badges, trying to "become the best pokemon champion ever". He realizes exactly how many people chase that dream and all but a few fail, sometimes, or rather often, miserably. Besides, it isn't his sort of pursuit.
He has no badges, but that doesn't reflect on his talent. Indeed, he is extremely talented, a natural, especially with his pokemon. He cares for them a lot, and it's hard to beat him in a battle.

◘[About: Ichiru was my first pokemon. I caught him--with a pokeball I found on the ground--when I was nine. Well, really, I accidentally hit him upside the head when trying to capture him, and he was too dizzy to escape the pokeball... but you don't need to know that.
Ichiru has been with me from day one when I left home in Blackthorn and relocated to Ecruteak for awhile. He is definitely my strongest pokemon, and being as calm as he is, he could battle for himself, develop his own strategies, and everything--if he had to.

◘[About: Niiru I found as a Surskit, whizzing around on the water. Although he doesn't quite fit my team's typical types of ghost or psychic, I really like him. He was my first capture, because I was originally going to send him home to my parents, but when I found out how strong he was when I battled him, I wanted him for myself, and I always will.
I've since evolved him into the Masquerain he is today. He still knows a lot of his water-type moves that he knew before, which also helps when we're fighting a fire type... Although being a bug as well, that doesn't help too much.
He's my second strongest and my fastest.

◘[About: Sanas is a little strange. While he's of the quiet nature and generally very relaxed and docile as well, he can be very mean when he wants to. However, typically he doesn't. He was caught when I was exploring some underground lake, and was inspecting a gravesight. He just popped up and started attacking me. So of course I fought back. And, of course, I won.
I don't use him too much, although he is pretty strong, so he's usually either a last resort or a back-up when I'm in a pinch.

◘[About: Shigu has to be my favorite pokemon. I keep him out of his pokeball and he is always around me. Although he freaks some people out, I love him to death. He may not be my strongest or oldest, but, yeah, definitely my favorite.
I captured him when I was inspecting someone's house for ghosts, who reported strange happenings, and it turned out he wasn't the culprit but a Ghastly was, and he was simply there hanging around said Ghastly and being amused by the whole events.
I captured the Ghastly and Shigu here, and sent the Ghastly back to Blackthorn to live with my mentor.

◘[About: I was exploring some building one night, spent the night and I awoke to found this little thing fluttering around my room and going into and out of the television. Weird little bugger, huh? But I love him. He's very interesting.
A lot of people think he's a legendary pokemon... He's not. He's just really rare, and I'm all sorts of proud to own him. I don't flaunt him, though. Well... maybe a little. But not too much.
I didn't catch him the first time around though. I didn't have any pokeballs on me, so I had to leave. I came back a week later, figuring he'd be gone, and happened upon him when entering the same room I spent the night in the first time. And this time around, I had a custom Premier ball that my mentor had sent me, supposedly it had a high capture rate for two-type pokemon. So I just took a chance and tossed it at him, and, yeah. I got him. Awesome, huh?
I don't use him to battle too often, and he's my weakest even though he's pretty strong, but when I do it's usually me trying to prolong the battle to think out strategies, since he has a high endurance and can take a lot of blows. That may be because his impish nature gives him extra defense.
