I still don't get it, what's suppose to happen if they free calipso? why does barbosa wants to free her so bad?!? it has something to do with the fight among davy jones's crew and theirs. I think. pirate

It can get confusing if you don't play close attention. I believe they were trying to free Calypso in hopes that she would help combat Beckett's fleet.
