I had an idea in school today, no you need not know what I was doing, and was wondering if it was decent and not cliche.
The story line that I have worked out:
Miss Sunshine, a kind but strict teacher, just transferred to Midling High School from an unknown school. She gets settled, gets to know her students, and quickly the most popular teacher. As she teaches, she acts as almost a big sister to her students, getting them through many troubles in their social, academic, and family lives without the students even realizing. This lasts for most of the year until the End-Of-The-Year pep rally, where one student finally figures out what their teacher had been doing. When she goes to find Miss Sunshine, however, she is disappointed to find that she had to go to another school immediately. While asking the other teachers where she went, they cannot say and claim that there never was a Miss Sunshine. The school year ends with all of Miss Sunshine's students at a loss for what happened during fourth period every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
So I was just wondering if this was cliche, overused, or just plain bad.
