As long as the person can play I don't really care if their man or female; just don't act like a noob, thats all I really care about...
Though it would be nice if there were more female gamers around where I live, but, nothing I can really do about that...

I personally don't know any, aside from very casual RTS playing and stuff like Roller Coaster Tycoon.
Doesn't really matter to me.

Most times when i see a chick playing video games it's cuz she wants to be able to interact with her boyfriend while he's playing.

interseting. Dark I like what you said. I can understand the boyfriend thing - but not all girl gamers got into gaming cause of that.
I got into gaming from practically birth. I did everything my older brother did. heh
i would love to keep this topic going if ever possible.

I know none personally that play at my level.
But I know a few who are pretty darn good on the net.
allthough I must say for me I find 15% of the gamers I talk to are girls and the rest are guys.

I've met girls who got into gaming just to impress their bfs... thats sad to watch. Otherwise from that, I think girl gamers are awesome. I'm one myself, and I play games for the sheer fun of immensing myself in another world, and getting to blow up things and creatures and freaky-looking people that I wouldn't want to in RL ^^

I'm wondering if this girl gaming is a new thing? It really doesn't matter to me what gender is playing, as long as there having fun is what matters. Although I'm sure if it exsists, I would not like to live in a world where people claim they have skills because of there gender, and think the opposite sex are bad. I'm also not into battle of the sex's style compatition, that makes one player or the other look bad.

Female gamers, for the most part, play RPGs, as far as I could tell. But then again, I could care less if they play games that we male gamers do.

My girlfriend is a gamer. I just have to laugh whenever there's a girl online though, and every guy in the room dishes out his pathetic attempt to pick her up.
