Yep, you guessed it! Here is a thread devoted to the Star Wars Universe! Discuss your favorite movies, characters, bad guys and good guys. Which aliens do you wish had ended up as furry stains on the jungle floor? Which belonged ruling the galaxy instead?Me, I'm a fan of the original trilogy. IV, V, and VI. blaugh While I enjoyed the new movies, they were missing something and Jar Jar? Well, that was just uncalled for. lol If he was supposed to be an answer to C-3PO and R2...well, I'm disappointed Lucas. rolleyes I really hope it was the movie execs who crammed him in at the last minute while George was involved elsewhere and unwise to the totally irritating and cliche CG sidekick they decided to foist upon us. Yep. Jar Jar hater here. xd Sorry fans. Mesa thinks he should have been squished.

The stories are fantastic and Lucas approved. xd To see that story on the big screen I'd gladly accept new actors in old roles....but no Jar Jar replacement please gawd! And this time, actually go to Kashyyk instead of taking the cheap way out and making midget Wookies instead. rolleyes LOL

I dunno, I always sort of liked the Ewoks. They were bears with weapons, what could be better? (besides being able to use the force of course)

That would awesome! They get too distracted by shiny things. I like them a lot but all you have to do is walk C3P0 by them and they follow him like the Pied Piper biggrin

I am such a Star Wars geek. I have all the movies (original and special edition), a reference encyclopedia, and about 30 novels. I'm still trying to get more, believe it or not. I have an account on Fanfiction.net with some Star Wars fanfiction, one being a reconciliation story between Leia and Anakin. Believe it or not, mine is probably the most popular there (because Anakin does very little, if any, whining and crying in the whole story).

Watching X-Play a while back, I saw a game where you can use Ewoks as suicide bombers.

Ewoks as suicide bombers...that's awesome! rofl I don't really hate the Ewoks, I just lost respect for them after those two horrendous Ewok movies. rolleyes Good grief what were they thinking?
That's four hours of my life I'd like back please. lol
I love the novels directly after Return of the Jedi where Leia has to deal with Anakin being her father. Couple great conversations there. 3nodding
Man I need to read those books again. Have to steal them from my sister again. xd

First off, I am a major Star Wars fan, I have been since I saw Return of the Jedi, dont ask why but I watched Jedi before A New Hope sweatdrop I was very young, rather foolish but oh well. I have something like 6 versions of the Star Wars movies, infact, I bought the last DVD release they did with the original, unedited versions too, even though I had the movies on DVD already 3nodding
I am NOT a fan of I through III, all bad movies, with bad acting and a not so good story line. There were only a few good actors in the whole 3 movies and they got burried under the horrible acting of their co-stars and the bad story. The one character I hate the most in the prequel is Anikan, mostly because the bloody actor that played him can't act if his life depended on it, the ONLY reason he is popular, is because of his looks. They could have had a far better choice for the character then him.
As for the books after, I assume your refering to the trilogy that most fans refer to as the "Thrawn Trilogy"? If so, I would LOVE to see them made, but unfortunatly, the actors from before are too old for their characters and I would HATE to see the replacements they would get. sweatdrop
I spend a fair bit of time the other day reading up on the comics of Star Wars, I didnt realize they already had the story line out to something like 130 years after Jedi, with a new empire, new emperor's and ironically, the major part of the movement against the Empire is the deposed Emperor.
I think, from what I read, the order of the Imperial Knights is of interest, I need to get more info on them, they arnt Jedi but from the sounds of it they arnt Sith either.
