Yep, you read that right. Barbossa shows up more than once in DMC, but it's not his face that you see:
When in Tia Dalma's shack, Jack and the crew bring along the little monkey. When Tia relases him from his cage, he runs to a pair of boots in the back room. They are sideways, toes facing the celing...and they're Barbossa's!! He's lying--dead--in the back room, and obviously the monkey would run to his master.
Also in Tia's shack, when Jack is seen poking at a hat with a large feather on it, guess who's hat it is? Barbossa's!
And again in Tia's shack, Jack swaps out his ring for another sitting near Tia's locket. The ring's former owner was none other than the pirate lord of the Caspian Sea himself: Barbossa!
Anyone else besides me see this?

I know. I didn't see it until the second time I watched it. It was brilliant. Although, i think Barbosa was alive when you saw his boots. Remember, in the Pirates movies, the dead person's body goes to the spirit world with their spirit. heart

That's very observant! I noticed the boots. I noticed Jack took the ring, but I didn't know if was Barbossa's. I don't recall Jack poking at a hat with a feather, though. :>
