Gotta love CLAMP, ne? When they're not going with a magical goddess or something equally ridiculous (sorry, but I just don't like that sort of thing; if you happen to, well, props to you), they're actually quite good at what they do.
Basically, it's the end of the world. Or the potential end of the world. The whole outcome rests on Kamui and Kamui, who unfortunately don't see eye to eye, and therefore get into some bad things there.
It's very good. Quite gory, rather unnecessarily so at points, but very good. The colouring is somewhat subdued, hinting a bit at the nature of it all. There are funny moments, of course, but it's typically very sad, very serious. Makes you think a bit, too. You end up agreeing with both sides, and it becomes difficult to tell good from evil. The story is very well thought-out, very well told, and the ending, while sad, is satisfactory.
Rather like Shakespeare, though... One of his tragedies, at least.
And, as seems to be frequent coming from me (sorry...), I have to comment on the music, which was AMAZING! Especially the main theme (NOT the opening theme; there's a difference).
