Fira Moved slowly through the Forest, keeping her senses alert. She was new to this part of the land, having become lost in a storm. She wondered to herself if any Teas lived on this part of the island.

Sirius had wandered from his home, searching for what other food sources they could rely on in this new land. His brown bell with purple stripes jingled gently on his chest as he sniffed the area, looking for edible fruits, nuts and berries.

Fira was just stopping to snack on a bush ripe red berries when she heard a slight jingle sound heading towards her. Not sure what it could be she slipped into the bushes and cruched down low in the shadows, her sharp eyes scanning around her.

Sirius' feet crunched softly in the plush grass as he sniffed his way to the bush full of red berries. The bell jingled on his chest, but was quickly muffled each time by the fur on his chest, only letting out the smallest tinkle of sounds. He looked at the berry bush and sniffed a few.
Hmmm, are these edible? He pulled one of the juicy looking berries from the bush, plucking it carefully with his teeth and bit it gently to let just a bit of the juices trickle into his mouth before taking the berry into his mouth as well. Savoring the sweetness he smiled and sniffed the berries once more. He wanted to wait for the effects of the berry to pass before deeming them safe to eat in large quantities.

Fira peeked up from her hiding place in the shadows and peered intently at the strange male. She wondered if she could trust him or not. Her senses told her he seemed to be harmless enough, but the small voice that was always with her warned caution. Without moving she spoke softly. "Hello?"

Sirius' ears twitched as he raised an eye at the bush. Surely, not a talking bush now? I knew this land would have more magical wonders than our last, but this is too much. He poked a paw at the bush and sniffed at it suspiciously.
In the end the male decided to take a step back and sit, appraising the bush carefully and spoke, "Hello, my name is Sirius. And you are...?" Let's hope it really isn't the bush... then... I don't believe the bush would greet me for eating a berry from its limbs. Internally, he was quite uncertain, mulling over his thoughts but outwardly he kept a calm, open patience.

Fira felt a bit more comfortable from the actions of the male. She slowly raised up just enough to crawl and poked just enough of her face out of the bush to be able to see clearly. Again she spoke softly, trying to not provoke the male. "I..I'm Fira."

Sirius was startled by the initial rustling of the bush's branches but sighed a smile of relief at seeing another Taestysia's head come out. He chuckled to himself and bowed to her. "Nice to meet you, Fira. Do you make a habit of hiding in bushes?"

Fira's shook her head slightly but didn't come any farther out of the bush. Her legs still ready to flee at any sign of danger. "I... I do when I don't know what is coming near to me, not knowing if it is friend or foe. And since I'm lost I doubt it would be any friend I know."

"Oh, I see..." Sirius' mannerisms were regal and friendly, but he let go of his more exuberant charm to let her be at her ease. "Well, shall you and I both make a new friend then? Are you in need of any help?"

Fira Slowly stood and stepped out of the brush, shaking the lose leaves off her back. "Perhaps we could be friends. I have heard you can never have too many, though I have seen in the past it is hard to find those whom you can truely call friend. My name is Fira Skylark. As for help, I am uncertain....of many things, including where I am."

Sirius smiled warmly at Fira, "Indeed friendship is quite valuable. I've only met few in this world I could deem a friend as well." He plucked a small bundle of large, ripe berries and offered it to her, laying it at her feet and nosing it closer. "My full name is Sirius Seikira, I was once a spirit of the Clouds and Sky, if I still had my ability to fly I could find out more about the land, but as it is, I'm nearly as lost as yourself." He smiled sheepishly and ran a paw through his hair.

Jaya stopped jingling so much when she heard her caretaker speaking out loud. Then came another voice, this one more feminine. She listened in silence, memorizing words though she knew little what they meant. The bell jingled softly when he moved and nosed something around. Jaya piped up "Fwiend? Si.. Sirr.. Sirrus fwiend? Sky!" She repeated words he said having more trouble with some then others. "Cloo..d Clooods." It wasn't comming out right at all.

Fira tilted her head to one side thoughtfully, "spirit of the clouds? I don't think I would ever want to go that high. I enjoy solid footing underneath me." She leaned down and nibbled a few berries before rising agian. "Thank you for the berries Sirius. I was out in the forest when a bad storm came up. It was all I could manage to do was keep my footing and find shelter."

Sirius smiled inwardly at Jaya and spoke to her from within his own mind link to her, Yes, my name is Sirius. I can be your friend if you wish it? Clouds and the sky are above us, high above us.
He couldn't help but smile warmly and his eyes lit with an inner happiness that was quite palpable, "Ah, but though solid footing is good, the immense joy and peace of the wind whispering its secrets as you fly amongst the clouds, is really unmatched." He nodded to her and looked out in the distance, "Perhaps we can explore this land more together? I only remember briefly the layout before I had to come back to the ground, but it seemed a wondrous place."
