Wow, that was a little off the wall there. Though I'm not Christian, I do think that was just a tad bit too far. Sucks about your computer, though.

You know, most Christians believe that communion is symbolic, not literal.
Here's my proof that there's a God. Go outside. (Or stay inside and look at yourself.) How can anything that beautiful and complex be an accident? There must be a God and he loves us. So much so that he sent his son, Jesus.

Um, the whole point is that it might not make complete sense right now. It's called faith.
...and all the people who are constantly talking about the millions of years it took us to get here and making fun of Christians and all other peoples of faith, aren't we just brainwashing the kids to believe that there is no God and that Christians are stupid? They obviously convinced you. Why are Christians the "zombies"?
oh and HI! Livi! Glad you joined our craziness here! ^_^

One of the most debatable things about religion (Christianity in particular) is that you can neither prove or disprove that a God(s) exist. Saying Christianity is all lies is clearly biased. Was the point of the thread to cause flaming or to start a debate?

Glad you joined our craziness here! ^_^ ok i just found that pic, you people seem to think i made it... i assume the zombie reference is to coming back to life after death, the resurrection, easter sunday, etc. everyone really is reading way too much into it. however i feel i should mention how the major christian holidays all center around major pagan holidays. easter the spring equinox, and christmas the winter solstice. coincidence? i think so. what better way to enslave others into believing your teachings, than covering up the past with a new idea? as for the "debate" it could go on forever, if you feel the need to believe what has been shoved down your throat all your lives, then go for it, i'm not going to stop you. but if so, you really need to read the bible, you may find some things in there that you don't agree with, don't make sense, or are just outright wrong. and you have to remember, jesus did not come to change a jot, all the old laws, according to him, are still in effect. you know, stoning homosexuals to death, if you rape a virgin, you have to pay her father 50 shekels of silver and marry her, and you can't divorce her, as long as you live. ...sounds fair.

Okay dear time to get the facts straight. In those times, Christians were severely persecuted everywhere. They celebrated Jesus's birth and His Sacrifice on the cross near the winter and spring solstices so they weren't murdered for their beliefs. Get it? and what...? "and you have to remember, jesus did not come to change a jot, all the old laws, according to him, are still in effect. you know, stoning homosexuals to death, if you rape a virgin, you have to pay her father 50 shekels of silver and marry her, and you can't divorce her, as long as you live. " Where do you live that that still happens on a regular basis? 'Cause that sure doesn't happen outside my house... And um.... I think I'd be in pretty sorry shape without Jesus. Exactly why would I care about anything? With the world we live in, without Jesus I'd be probably the most depressed, nasty evil person... *shrug* And about proving things... You can't prove anything. Just go ahead and try, there'll always be someone somewhere with some exception to the rule, some reason why it's not true. As for me, I don't need any more proof than what livi said. Outside. Fingers typing this... Sure you could explain why my fingers can move... but you can't really, can you? Just a bunch of scientific garbage that no one understands why it works anyway... Why is 2+2=4? It just is. You put your faith in that, so why not God? What's there to lose? *sigh* At least try to think about it, and if you must continue to be so blasphemous, kindly do so elsewhere... Queen of La La land 4077 You know, most Christians believe that communion is symbolic, not literal. Here's my proof that there's a God. Go outside. (Or stay inside and look at yourself.) How can anything that beautiful and complex be an accident? There must be a God and he loves us. So much so that he sent his son, Jesus. I was waiting for that, there's my livi. I loves you. *Gir* *huggles* ^_^
