No one thinks,
No one stops,
"Must get there,
Whatever the cost.
I'll preach and I'll work
And I'll sing and I'll pray
If you let me into your kingdom
Someday."
But does it not say?
Didn't he say,
"And heaven be on Earth"?

Don't ask the Lord
To welcome you in
To a place in the heavens,
On high.
Instead, create a place,
Into where you can welcome him.
Preach for it,
Work for it,
Sing for it,
Pray for it.

And don't think of the reward
For doing whats right.
Don't look up to God,
with his power and might,
And say,
"Hey, look at me.
Look, can you see?
I work for you,
So am I saved Lord?
Hey, look at me!"

Poor man, don't you see?
Look around you,
This is where you and the Lord should be.
So Preach for it,
Work for it,
Sing for it,
Pray for it,
And being heaven to Earth
As he meant it to be.

I like what you're saying.
If I'm right, you're saying that some people are only saved so they can go to Heaven someday. But Heaven is essentially being with God, so if you truly want Heaven, then you must truly want to be with God, which is accomplishable, (to an extent) on earth through praying studying your Bible ect ect.
Life is a gift, and despite the awesomness of Heaven to come, we can still experience God's very presence on this earth, if we try!
