OK this does not pertain specifically to global warming, but can be related.

So we all no that things want to go from hot to cold.

This is how we have air masses and weather: wind is a temperature difference.

So if you think about it: we have an ice cube. If things are going from hot to cold then the ice cube is trying to make its warmer surrounding colder. So REALLY it is emitting coldness into the area around it. It just seems weird how that works.

This makes me ponder.

Yes, it's making the air colder, but it will eventually get warmer, and the ice won't be there to make it cold.

Just like ice expands when it freezes, yet the colder the ice gets, the more it actually compresses. it's a temporary reaction.
