They're playing Jesus Camp on a tv station, so I'm watching it, cause I can, and...well, I'll censor myself.

Anyways, they show one of the main characters watching a claymation/puppet(guy in a suit?) thing on tv which the kid is watching. Which came just after a mock-archeologist looking guy making fun of the big bang and how its funny we came from goo (ball of slime lands in his hand). So the puppet (a dinosaur) talks about the big bang a little and makes fun of the idea of evolution by debasing it as being based on belief.

Just, come on, lol with me. They were showing a show, I'm making fun of that, not directly the religion, though I'll make fun of anything thats zealotic. Who else has seen the "Jesus Camp" movie so far? Any parts you care to regail us with and your views? Any comments period?

I'll come back later as I get more through the movie (missed the first 15 minutes) I never thought I'd see it.

Yes, this is an old thread, but I didn't notice it until now. xd I saw this film within the last year, and while watching it, I deliberately attempted to view it from a non-biased angle. Yes, some of what they do will strike most people as strange, but I sat there and thought to myself that yes, an awful lot of what Neopagans do would strike many as just as incredibly strange if cut and edited like they did with the scenes in this film. These people have the right to express themselves and cultivate a lifestyle that they believe in. More power to them.

I tend to draw the line, though, where their expressions of themselves directly threaten others - where the expression focuses on forcing all others to conform to the "one true way." That's what concerns me about the people in this film. Not so much what they are doing, but their attempt to use aggressive measures to convert others to come along on their train.
