The water-clogged area surrounding the village. With a constant pastel-colored effect from the mist, the forest is quite eerie.

Deep within the sinister forest, the deathly silence was interupted by the sounds of metal against wood. A female figure that was clearly still young wove her way through the trees with ease. She veered direction at a sharp angle and attacked her invisible foe. In her hand was a long, thin blade that moved in a graceful arc in front of her. There was a secondary sword strapped to her back that was clearly much more powerful and heavier than the light weapon she wielded now.
Coming to an immediate halt, she kept just the tip of the sword touching the bark of the tree. It was easy to see that she had been training for an hour or two and was quite tired. The conditions of the forest made it the perfect spot to practise her weapon wielding and endurance. One small flick of her wrist and a mark was created. Sheathing the blade, the genin stepped back to admire her work. The tree had looked like it had become the victim of some large beast with several large chunks taken out of the trunk.

"Yaawwwwn...hmm...so bored." A lone male stands surrounded by water, on top of a toppled tree that had been cut down with his scythe. Taking his weapon in one hand, he gently grazed it against the water's edge and began focusing his chakra. The water began to ripple, then long watery tendrils reached out and grabbed the huge blade. "Come...on!" The whole scythe was eventually enveloped in water...but then the water broke its hold and the genin sat down and set down his weapon at his side in frustration. "No matter how hard i try...the molding process requires much more control over the water...and my chakra..."
Looking across the water, he could see nothing past the mist that grew around the trees and danced above the water. Now bending over the water, the boy looked and saw the face of his childhood rescuer...he gave a deep breath and stood back up once more with his scythe stroking the water's surface.

The kunoichi jumped onto a tree branch, resting against the bark. She closed her eyes and listened to the sounds of the forest. What she expected was the deathly silence and her own steady breathing. Instead, the girl heard the faint rippling of water. 'Now isn't that peculiar? It's probably nothing.' The thought crossed her mind as she turned her head. If there was a person nearby, perhaps she should investigate.
Now her curiosity got the better of her again. Groaning, the girl stood up and started her way to where the center of the ripples must have been. This was probably not necessary but it was better to check it out anyways. With her luck it was probably some animal that had fallen into the water. Maybe it was a genin from Kirigakure much like herself. Her footsteps were very light but loud enough for anything with sensitive hearing to pick it up.

A tall male ,with a black coat and white hair, inhaled the mist around him as he walked thru it. "I wonder if anyone trains out here anymore?" He muttered. His dark eyes seemed to stare thru the dense mist, even though he almost had no idea where he was going. After awhile he came across a genin who looked like he was about to fall a part. "Hey. You alright?" He asked looking down at him. ((Heh didn't know you were in this guild to.))

((lol you guys here too?! xD the other guild sorta confused me with all their multiple characters...))
Looking back across the water, the male figured heard light footsteps somewhere in the distance. "hmm...maybe they...wait it's one person...but i feel different chakras inside the forest." Picking up his scythe from the water, he decided to practice combat instead now. Striking it diagonally to his left, he made a deep cut in a neighboring tree. Out of annoyance, he struck once more, cutting it down before turning to a second tree but this time cutting it down with one stroke.

It was certain that there was another person in the forest as another tree shifted and fell into the water. The chakra signature in front of her was getting stronger when she approached. Even through the mist, it was easy to tell that it was a male not much older than herself. The odd shape of his weapon would probably something like a scythe or possibly a curved sword. Whoever he was, it seemed that he was familiar with the dense mist of the country. That would eliminate most chances of him being an enemy. No average villager would be able to even swing that weapon properly or have a chakra signature at all. In her conclusion, it had to be someone from Kirigakure who is at least a genin.
She stopped just before the treeline where he was training. The observational skills she had could still be proven wrong if she watched longer. Either way she would be detected if they were paying attention to their surroundings.

It was after he had cut down several other trees that he turned around and noticed the guest that arrived. Though all he saw was the outline of the shadow in the thick mist, he could tell there was a kunoichi around his age that had been observing him for some time now. Curious but respectful, he continued to practice with his scythe, this time he would bring it down as fast as possible, slicing the water before the blade even reached it. "Would it be rude to approach a lady? hmm...but if she wants to talk then we'll eventually meet then...i guess..." He muttered that to himself when he raised up the scythe in both hands.
The wind in the air suddenly shifted, as though aiding the male when he sliced through the space in front of him with ease. Though it only made a slight ripple in the water that extended about less than a meter, it brought a smile to the genin's face. Using this happy moment, he decided to greet the female ninja with a wave, hoping that if she could see him through the mist then she could see this...

Ancheta found a special place for himself. A cave under the bridge that was just on the edge of the forest. He used this place to practice his art. Although If he didn't leave before the sun went down, the tide would come in and things got a lot less pleasant. He was here now, training. The tattoo on his right palm that contained his favorite weapon, Mnagoozga. A zanbato, usually for killing horses was given to him by his father who was in a previous samurai war. He held out his arm far to his side and in a large puff of smoke his giant sword appeared in his hand. He held it behind him and examined the cave and his technique startled some of the bats. The bats fluttered around him and screeching and as he marvled in their panic he lost his focus on the hanging stalagmite! He noticed and used his sword to cut one off a nearby stalagmite. He caught it with his hand and pulled himself on top with enough time to jump off and catch the cave wall as both rocks broke in the craggy waters that flowed out of the cave. Ancheta brushed off his fore-head with a smile behind his mask.

The girl had watched the scythe intently, cutting the water without actually hitting it. That was not something so easily done without at least several days of training. She practised something quite similar with her blades in an attempt to extend her range of attack without the use of chakra. It had taken a while, but she had been able to pull it off for short amounts of time. For her to go at such speeds usually had a negative effect on her body, which was why she had branched off into other styles.
It was clarified that the other shinobi had seen her when he waved in her direction. There was no use in standing around doing nothing but taking observations once the person was aware of their spy. The kunoichi came closer to him and stopped just again by the trees. Even if she was more in focus, her pale attire would still make it hard to see her. "Quite impressive, it must have taken a while to get that correct speed." A mild comment like that would not give away any information about her and would stay that way until she knew it was someone she could trust.

Surprised that the kunoichi actually approached him, though not very close, he smiled and slightly bowed his head while bringing his scythe behind his back. "Haha, time is nothing when you've got a performance to put on for an audience." Whether friend of foe, it was still quite unclear, but if she was so hard to see...then maybe her clothing was specifically made for the mist that surrounded the Country of Water.
To tell the truth, besides his childhood rescuer, he had never seen another Kunoichi before. He thought perhaps that this female could also be of great talent, along with that previous comment of hers it seemed that she was quite experienced! The male then shook off his coat of any splinters and wood shards before waving to the girl again. "Nice to meet another Mist ninja, I'm Shane." Though he was foolish in giving away his name, it was proper manners to give your own before -guests- offered theirs...

He seemed harmless enough and he was also a fellow Mist shinobi. The girl deemed it safe enough to talk to him and relaxed inwardly. At least it wasn't some dangerous S-ranked criminal that planned to invade Kirigakure. "My name is Rin Tanaka. I usually work with swords of all shapes and sizes opposed to using my jutsu."
Unlike many of the Mist shinobi and kunoichi, her element was strangely electrical. This restricted her normally as Kirigakure had hardly any resources that spoke of lightning justu. Using any of her lightning based ninjutsu that she knew would end up with unwanted results considering that everything was covered in water. It also gave her the upper hand, as long as she was not anywhere near the affected area of course. In a case where she had to use chakra, it would only be for genjutsu instead.

As a man appered beside me I looked up and grasped at the hope I had carelessly thrown away. I stood up and without replying asked him if he would give me directions to get out of this mist. Then, as I realized how rude I was, extended my hand in a form of greting and introduced myself, "Hi, my name's Kyute Kourimizu. Thanks for finding me, I thought I would be lost here forever" my hand reflexivly went to my head as I waited for some kind of reply

"Names Tor Korot." He said with a grin. He nodded back to direction he had arrived from. "Its this way out, just fallow me." He said heading back. "You must not be used to the mist, you look all choked, up."
