Hello. I've recently joined this guild not more than two minutes ago. However, I do have a question about the different clans and their costs. What do you guys do with the money collected when we create a clan? or do we donate that gold to the guild?

i have one...if your an exseptional RPer when you join are you allowed to start as an Anbu Capt...cuase i really dont want to do another profile...

Okay! Let's get to answering!
The question concerning donations, I'll probably create a guild mule for donating, but for now I still have plans to expand the sub-forums, so a donation straight to the guild would be just fine. When we've added one or two more sub-forums, I'll set the guild mule up, and use the donations for events/prizes.
As for Joining a clan, just send a PM stating which clan you want to join to me or Yaoi ninja 999, and we'll give you the thumb's up after checking to see if you've donated the corresponding amount.
Now for Oni's question! If you would like to start off as a higher rank, and we believe you are advanced enough to do so, just ask about it, we'll probably say yes, since it is important to have some range in rank, especially in a newer guild. As for your specific question about starting off as an ANBU Capt., you've got the green light from me!

Actually, this is more of "Suggestions", but I didn't see a thread for that. ^^ As a warning, I prefer sticking to Canon as much as possible. I firmly believe that roleplays are more fun that way.
1. Get rid of the 'Sannin' rank. That was given to THREE people in the original series, and in Guilds, people who obtain it usually aren't worthy of such a title. Or, if you don't get rid of it, make people work REALLY, REALLY hard for it. Like, several pages of large, literate posts in a group fight against a Kage. No special jumps immediately to it or anything like that. Titles are worth more when people earn them.
2. In case you're doing otherwise, keep the number of Kage at five. One for each of the great villages. No "Otokage" or any crap like that. A Kage isn't the leader of a Ninja Village, he's (or she's) the leader of one of the five Great Villages.
3. One element for jutsu at Genin and Chuunin. Two for Jounin or higher and Bloodlines. Three elements for Kage. Jinchuuriki should be bound to two elements at all times, one being their Bijuu's type and the other what they have naturally.

I agree with Rednal.
Allow Kage's to assign 1-2 Sannin per village. People must be literate & good. How good? GOOD!
The Jinchuuriki with the five tail has all five elements. All other should only have theirs and the Biju's

In the rules it states that there is no killing of other characters. However, it is the Akatsuki's goal to obtain the bijuu and extract them from the Jinchuuriki. The process kills them. If we capture the Jinchuuriki without godmodding, are we allowed to kill them to extract the bijuu?

For rednal's suggestion, they are all good ones. I did take all of them into thought except for the sannin one, which is a very good point. I'll take that one to heart, and make sure anyone who wants the title sannin is worthy of it. I have no intention of letting anyone get the title through a timeskip or starting off with it, I'll make sure they earn it through there own carpal tunnel, broken keysboards, and tears.
2. I really was hesitant about having more then the main villages. You're probably right about it, which is why I didn't open the grass, rain, or snow village right off the bat. The only exception I made was the sound village, which may get withdrawn soon. I'll definately be putting more though into what happens with the sound village.
3. Finally, the two element restriction might still happen, now that I've had more time to think about it, you're probably right, since it keeps the rp bound together better, and seeing as there is agreement among at least one of the mods.
Now for Uchiha Makura's question. I apologise for that little mix up there, that rule was put there before I added the "world of the dead" and and bijuu system, killing another human is part of the whole process, and there is more detail about it in the Bijuu and world of the dead board.

For the villages, when there are enough people, I don't really care how many villages there actually are. ^^ It couldn't matter less to me, to be perfectly honest, as long as the villages themselves are active. Perhaps... anybody who wants to lead a minor village would have to get seven other people committed to making characters for that village before it's opened? That would solve the worries about them being dead.
As for the elements, I do believe it would make the RP better. Often, in Naruto RPs, people just go around gathering up all the best techniques from different groups, regardless of how improbable that really is. If people are restricted to just a certain element or two, that will force them to be selective and creative when making their characters, and I firmly believe that the Guild will be better as a whole because of it.
No suggestion I ever make is done lightly. ~.^ Anything I suggest here is something that, judging from my rather substantial experience, will make the Guild more interesting and more active.

Oh, and one more suggestion...
If you want the Guild to be GOOD, have literacy and 5-lines-per-post rules. Trust me, it'll help. N00bs who like doing things such as using asterisks for actions in their posts only degrade Guilds, and a minimum requirement for posts will ensure that people are actually working. ~.^

I agree, short posts don't make a very good roleplay. One liners give hardly any information and is overall pretty sad. It's understandable that it's not possible in some occasions to write something like a novel. However, it doesn't mean that they should slack off. Even if it just describes a setting or an appearance, it looks much better. Something around a paragraph would be much more suitable. I've seen other guilds use something similar to that and it always turned out quite well. For those who have trouble with that kind of roleplaying, there should be something to help them out.

I suppose that's all true. I won't make a rule that says "Five sentances in every post or I'll beat you with a ten foot metal rod", but one liners and asterisks are unexcusable. I did mean to make a sort of RP school, I suppose Ic an do that and try to gather one or two instructors to help out. I'll do a 4 sentance min., suggest at least a paragraph.
