The area around the Cloud Village is nothing but mountainous terrain. Clouds create thick fog in the many valleys the are scattered throughout the area making it an excellent training ground.

Tina Wu sat just above the edge of the clouds, looking down on the village below. It had been where she had grown up, and became prestigous in the community as one of the country's few nobles. Her strength as a ninja had rarely been matched and the secrets of her abilities were not yet known publicly. Should the secret's of Wu become common knowledge, it wouldn't matter, but it may set the clan in a very different light, drawing very few supporters.
Her white eyes were similar to the Byakugan only in looks. They held no special power and symbolized a curse rather than a blessing. It was a symbol of her faith, determination, and cruel predetermined fate. As a first-born, she had become the eigth holder of the Wu's innate bloodline attained only when birthed in the shadow of death. It was a life which would deteriorate the soul and shroud their identity.
"As the sun controls the time of day..." Tina whispered, "so does the Wu family pull the strings of the world."

Perched upon the peak of the mountain, Umeko gazed across the skies at the girl sitting at an equal level to her own. Umeko had never seen this girl before, although it made sense since she was new to these land. "I want to meet this girl," Umeko whispered to herself, "She looks interesting. Those white eyes especially intrigue me. Could she be of the Hyuuga clan? Or maybe she's just blind. I do not know, but I am willing to find out."
Umeko bent her legs, ready to jump across the sky to the girl she so wanted to meet. It was like the girl was just pulling Umeko closer and closer as she sprung across the clouds. The distance Umeko had to cross was so vast, she didn't know if she would make, but to Umeko's surprise her body stayed at a constant height. It never moved above or bellow the clouds, but stayed as if she was walking along them.
After four minutes Umeko finally made it to ridged peak the young girl sat upon. Now holding out her hand, Umeko introduced herself, "Hello, my name is Umeko and your's would be..."

Tina had silently watched the young girl approach her, already knowing who she was. As a prodigy of her family, she had to learn everyone's name and their abilities in order to be able to copy or camoflauge herself when need be. Of course, she had skipped out on several lessons and had not completely learned anyone over 56 years of age. This particular one was Umeko Yuki, once a denizen of Kirigakure and because of an undisclosed event (one she didn't quite remember) had come to live in Kumogakure. Now 15, the genin was not exactly team material, and news had arrived that morning of her being the first student under the Wu's command.
"Umeko Yuki," Tina said as she shook the girl's hand, "how fitting that you should find me here when we are both scheduled to meet soon. I will be your sensei for team one." Tina gave a comforting smile as she suddenly left her pupils grasp and lept to the ground below. Following a series of flips, one could feel the sudden spike in chakra as the Jounin cushioned her landing with Futton. A crater almost a meter in diameter had been formed on one of the small plateaus of the mountain, killing any and all life within it's range, leaving Tina unharmed.

((keep in mind, a meter in diameter is not massive... just noticable...))

As the girl explained that she was Umeko's Captain, Umeko's pupils broadened and her jaw dropped in amazement that such a young girl could already be a Jounin.
"Wait!" Umeko hollered down the mountainside as Tina leaped from it's summit to the plains bellow. Umeko flipped down the mountainside as well, in hope to get some training from her Captain or at least to learn more about her and her style of fighting. Umeko loved to learn about both her enemies and her allies, so no matter what, she would be ready if a fight happened to occur.
Umeko wondered if her leader could teach her an animal summoning jutsu, as for it was an art she had dreamed of learning. Umeko also wondered if her teacher could help improve her lightning jutsus, even though seeing already from Tina's impressive landing that she was a controller of the winds. There was so many thing Umeko had hoped to learned that she didn't have the time to go through them all of them at the moment, but instead would wait to tell them to her teacher when the time of training came(Hopefully soon).

((Sorry with the inactivity, but I'm caught up in schoolwork and... well... work.))

"Good..." Tina watched as her pupil had found her way down, but wondered if the basics had truly been beaten into her, "Now, I want to know exactly how far you've progressed. Can you control your chakra, but wait, don't answer me with words, but with your actions..." A little surprise had been made for the Genin as Tina had made her way down. It would test exactly how she would be able to react to new and different situations, in a way that could be controlled and kept safe.

Umeko nodded in response to Tina's request. First Umeko held her arms out in front of her with her hands facing each other in tiger claw. Umeko grunted through struggle as she tried to focus the electrical currents up through her body and into her fingertips. Suddenly the currents started to extend across her body, attaching themselves to each other in the middle. "Is this good enough..." Umeko struggled to ask, focusing all her attention on the currents running throughout her body.

"good," Tina responded as she studied the stance, "now can you try and use something a little more basic, say... running up a tree without your hands?" It was a practice that had been recognized throughout every village, and was instigated as a great way to practice chakra control.

Umeko gazed upon the barren, mountainous landscape surrounding her and Tina. Not a single tree could be spotted for miles. Not a single one!
Umeko swung around to her sensei with a embezzled look upon her face, "I am sorry Tina sensei, but this land has no vegetation in it whatsoever. It would be impossible for me to do such a thing. We would have to head back to the village, or maybe even the sky forest if you wanted me to do anything with trees."
"What would an alternative to climbing a tree by..." Umeko thought, while still gazing across the chain of mountains.
Suddenly a large wall of rock appeared in the corner of Umeko's eye. Immediately her head flew in the direction of the wall. "It's perfect," Umeko whispered just loud enough for her sensei to here. "I know what we could us as an alternative to tree climbing...that!" Umeko's arm shot out in the cliff's direction as she finished her last sentence. Using her actions to also explain what she had in mind.
"So, what do you think?"

Tina scowled a little under her breath noticing that her pupil didn't bother to mention the lone tree she had been sitting on. While her creation looked flawless, was it that Umeko seriously was able to see through it? Uncomprehensible, but provable if she provoked the situation farther.
"Sure, I guess that would work..." Tina said, trying to lure the girl's attention while a small critter pounced on the rock, preparing what would be practiced upon. It drew no attention to to itself, so in no way would anyone ignorant of it's true identity be able to determine it's task.
"Now, please show me exactly how far you've come..." Tina said.

Sendo appears by Tina. "Hey can i join your squad? I'm new here."
PostPosted: Sat Feb 16, 2008 9:29 pm

((Sorry, I've been SUPER BUSY!))

"New, huh?" Tina said as she looked Sendo up and down, "Inbijiburu Sedo, the 14-year old genin who's recently graduated and wants a few jobs, huh?" the kunonochi thought about this boy for a while, and what kind of progress could be developed from her training. A perfect test suddenly popped into her mind as she smiled almost devilishly.
"If you really wish to join Team #1 of the Cloud Village then you must journey with me to Konoha for your initiation." She had some connections in the village, and would be able to see if the boy had enough skill to participate in C-rank missions.

((If you agree, I'll just post once here to confirm and then post at the Cloud Village's gates, do not leave without your sensei. This is all an attempt to motivate us to keep active, even if a village of 2 and 1 deserter dies out.))

"Hai, Sensei" Sendo poofs to the gates. (where are the gates?)
PostPosted: Wed Feb 20, 2008 4:18 pm

((There isn't any, I'll just post at Konoha's main gate. Considering that the Cloud Village's population is a total of 3, I doubt anyone will really mind.))
