Of all the cities I've actually visited, these were my favourites.
5. Washington D.C., United States of America.
The architecture here is nice, an older style because a lot of buildings have survive quite a while. I mostly liked the museums, though the Natural History one hasn't got anything on Chicago's Field Museum.
4. Reykjavik, Iceland.
Yeah, I travel a lot. Anyway, it's really, really, really pretty. There's a lot to do outside, though it's really freaking cold if you go in the winter. And dark most of the day. But it's still amazing.
3. Chicago, Illinois in the United States of America.
I grew up here. The people are amazingly friendly, they make an honest effort to work with the environment now, and downtown is a lot cleaner than a lot of cities.
2. Vancouver, British Columbia in Canada
What can I say? It's Vancouver. It's really beautiful, there're a lot of opportunities to do stuff outside, and it's got my University (UBC). So yeah. Pretty damned awesome.
1. Stockholm, Sweden
Does this one really need explaining?
