Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is an anime that can only be described in one word...EPIC. It's one of my favorites and is right up there is Code Geass, even though they are quite diffrent. So if you're a big fan of Kamina's antics and the supreme GARness of this anime, feel free to talk about it. If not, consider checking it out.

I like Gurren Lagann, its definitely up there with Code Geass, I hate it that they killed Kamina in the series, he was my favorite besides Simon and Yoko crying

Yep, and Yoko had some of the worst dating luck. Kamina, then Keaton, both gone very quickly from starting a relationship.
Also, I once found a random forum that had a Guren versus Gurren debate, pretty interesting since Kallen just needs to grab the opponent with the right arm, and Kamina is Kamina. Pretty balanced?

That's an epic show-down I'd pay to see. o many good character got killed of in that show though. The ending bummed me out.

Xxlancelot_geass00xX poor kamina-sama *sniff**sniff* *SPOILERS* Well I think Kamina had to die because he was blocking the viewers of who was the main character him or Simon. Besides if he didn't die Simon wouldn't of found Nia and season 2 would be like 25 years in the future instead of 7 because the anti-spiral's former messenger died.

I agree with lancelot, since it was the major step to Simon's growth.
*SPOILER*
In the beginning, Simon could believe in himself. In that situation, Kamina told him, "Don't believe in yourself. Believe in me, who believes in you." A rather indirect way of believing in oneself, but it helps to know that someone else has confidence in oneself. With Kamina's last breath, he told him, "Believe in you, who believes in yourself." Kamina's death was the key turning point for Simon. That was when I learns to truly believe in himself, which allows him to become the ultimate warrior that he becomes in the second season. Had Kamina still been alive throughout the rest of the season, Simon would have never reached that peak.

Gurren Lagann is one of the best animes that was made hands down. It has to be my 5th favorite out of the 20+ anime that I've seen and I was so pissed when Kamina died!
