my favorite song: Metallicas whiskey in the jar
Whiskey In The Jar
[Originally recorded by Thin Lizzy]
As I was goin' over the Cork and Kerry mountains I saw Captain Farrell and his money he was countin' I first produced my pistol and then produced my rapier I said stand and deliver or the devil he may take ya
I took all of his money and it was a pretty penny I took all of his money yeah and I brought it home to Molly She swore that she'd love me, no never would she leave me But the devil take that woman yeah for you know she tricked me easy
Musha ring dum a doo dum a da Whack for my daddy-o Whack for my daddy-o There's whiskey in the jar-o
Being drunk and weary I went to Molly's chamber Takin' my money with me and I never knew the danger For about six or maybe seven in walked Captain Farrell I jumped up, fired off my pistols and I shot him with both barrels
Musha ring dum a doo dum a da Whack for my daddy-o Whack for my daddy-o There's whiskey in the jar-o
Now some men like the fishin' and some men like the fowlin' And some men like ta hear, ta hear cannon ball a roarin' Me I like sleepin' specially in my Molly's chamber But here I am in prison, here I am with a ball and chain yeah
Musha ring dum a doo dum a da Whack for my daddy-o Whack for my daddy-o There's whiskey in the jar-o
Whiskey in the jar-o Musha ring dum a doo dum a da

This is one of my current favorite songs: International Harvester-Craig Morgan
I’m the son of a 3rd generation farmer I’ve been married 10 years to the farmer’s daughter I’m a God fearin’ hard workin’ combine driver Hoggin’ up the road on my p-p-p-p-plower Chug a lug a luggin’ 5 miles an hour On my International Harvester
Three miles of cars layin’ on their horns Fallin’ on deaf ears of corn Lined up behind me like a big parade Of late to work road raged jerks Shoutin’ obscene words flippin’ me the bird
Well you may be on a state paved road But that blacktop runs through my payload Excuse me for tryin’ to do my job But this year ain’t been no bumper crop If you don’t like the way I’m a drivin’ Get back on the interstate Otherwise sit tight and be nice And quit yer honkin’ at me that way
Chorus: Cause I’m a son of a 3rd generation farmer I’ve been married 10 years to a farmer’s daughter I got 2 boys in the county 4-H I’m a lifetime sponsor of the F.F.A. Hay! That’s what I make I make a lotta hay for a little pay But I’m proud to say I’m a God fearin’ hard workin’ combine driver Hoggin’ up the road on my a p-p-p-plower Chug a lug a lugin’ 5 miles an hour On my International Harvester
Well I know you got your own deadlines But cussin’ me ain’t savin’ no time hoss This big-wheeled wide load ain’t goin’ any faster So just smile and wave and tip your hat To the man up on the tractor
Chorus: Cause I’m a son of a 3rd generation farmer I’ve been married 10 years to a farmer’s daughter I got two boys in the county 4-H I’m a lifetime sponsor of the F.F.A. Hay! That’s what I make I make a lot of hay for a little pay But I’m proud to say I’m a God fearin’ hard workin’ combine driver Hoggin’ up the road on my p-p-p-plower Chug a lug a lugin’ 5 miles an hour On my International Harvester
I’m a God fearin’ hard workin’ combine driver Hoggin’ up the road on my p-p-p-plower Chug a lug a lugin’ 5 miles an hour On my International Harvester

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to upset you. I was just letting everyone know that there is a place for songs, like there is with poems. So, they'd be open for critiquing. I didn't mean to make it sound as harsh as it seemed.

Artist: Big & Rich Song: Save a Horse (Ride a Cowboy)
(Intro) DUM-DE-DE-DUM, DE-DE-DUM-DE-DE-DUM, DE-DAA-DAAAAA DUM-DE-DE-DUM, DE-DE-DUM-DE-DE-DUM, DE-DAA-DAA-DAA-DAA-DAAAA!
Well, I walk into the room Passing out hundred dollar bills And it kills and it thrills like the horns on my Silverado grill And I buy the bar a double round of crown And everybody's getting down An' this town ain't never gonna be the same.
(Chorus smile Cause I saddle up my horse And I ride into the city I make a lot of noise Cause the girls They are so pretty Riding up and down Broadway On my old stud Leroy And the girls say Save a horse, ride a cowboy. Everybody says Save a horse, Ride a cowboy
Well I don't give a dang about nothing I'm singing and Bling- Blanging While the girls are drinking Long necks down! And I wouldn't trade ol' Leroy Or my Chevrolet for your Escalade Or your freak parade I'm the only John Wayne left in this town
And I saddle up my horse And I ride into the city I make a lot of noise Cause the girls They are so pretty Riding up and down Broadway On my old stud Leroy And the girls say Save a horse, ride a cowboy. Everybody says Save a horse, Ride a cowboy
(Spoken smile I'm a thourough-bred That's what she said In the back of my truck bed As I was gettin' buzzed on suds Out on some back country road. We where flying high Fine as whine, having ourselves a big and rich time And I was going, just about as far as she'd let me go. But her evaluation Of my cowboy reputation Had me begging for salvation All night long So I took her out giggin frogs Introduced her to my old bird dog And sang her every Wilie Nelson song I could think of
And we made love And I saddle up my horse And I ride into the city I make a lot of noise Cause the girls They are so pretty Riding up and down Broadway On my old stud Leroy And the girls say Save a horse, ride a cowboy. Everybody says Save a horse, Ride a cowboy
What? What? Save A Horse Ride A Cowboy Everybody says Save a Horse Ride a cowboy.

BUCKCHERRY LYRICS "Sorry" Oh I had a lot to say was thinking on my time away I missed you and things weren't the same Cause everything inside it never comes out right And when I see you cry it makes me want to die I'm sorry I'm bad, I'm sorry I'm blue, I'm sorry about all things I said to you And I know I can't take it back I love how you kiss, I love all you're sounds, and baby the way you make my world go round And I just wanted to say I'm sorry: This time I think I'm to blame it's harder to get through the days You get older and blame turns to shame [Pre-Chorus] [Chorus] Every single day I think about how we came all this way The sleepless nights and the tears you cried it's never too late to make it right Oh yeah sorry! [Chorus] here's a link to watch it http://www.lyrics.com/lyric.php?id=37272

Donna Donna Lyrics Artist(Band) biggrin onovan Leitch
Donna, Donna
On a wagon, bound for market, There’s a calf with a mournful eye. High above her, there’s a swallow, Winging swiftly through the sky.
How the winds are laughing, They laugh with all their might. Laugh and laugh the whole day through And, half the summer’s night.
Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna, Don, Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna, Don.
Stop complaining said the farmer, Who told you a calf to be? Why don’t you have wings to fly with, Like the swallow, so proud and free?
How the winds are laughing, They laugh with all their might. Laugh and laugh the whole day through And, half the summer’s night.
Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna, Don, Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna, Donna, Don.
Calves are easily bound and slaughtered Never knowing the reason why But whoever treasures freedom Like the swallow who’s learned to fly

Crawling is an awesome song. I fell in love with that song in the 9th grade.
This is a song from a band that I just discovered by accident. I bought the cd from our local dollar tree because it had a picture of a dog on cover. Turns out I like it. This song, though, is pretty dark.
Short Break by Squeeze.
He raped her with his eyes the minute she walked into the office as she stretched to hang her coat behind the door he beamed a smile so big she could have filled it with helium and flown off across the countryside he tried very hard to invite her out for lunch but like most women she could sense the underlying note of danger her instincts kept him at a safe distance and then he made her a coffee and the steam rose across her face It could be you it could be me We'll have to wait we'll have to see Its all for sale now that its time To take a short break
The sensation of safety and the little boy ambition to drive around mountain roads makes a woman mad for attention she hides the car keys he turns the place upside down and then looks out the window through the french blinds to see the car off in the distance a cloud of country dust feathers the sunlight as she smiles into the windscreen what can he do but wait patiently folding a coin through his fingers
It could be you it could be me We'll have to wait we'll have to see It's all for sale now that it's time To take a short break
There she is again this time with a pair of jeans being pulled slowly up over the curves of her body he plays guitar in the rocking chair these are the jeans of our forefathers these are the jeans of the 21st century because this is the new world where television and eye become one as we look down the digital telescope into the future and now its time for a short break
It could be you it could be me We'll have to wait we'll have to see Its all for sale now that its time Its lighter than air Whiter than white draft in a can The price is right save as you go The drive of your life its good to talk We say hello We say goodbye deep frozen days It could be you it could be me Its all for sale now that its time To take a short break
