This is pitifull!!! I know i sound like i'm repeating Private obeylamp, but this is rediculous!!! There are only 32 members of the Durem Elite Forces Soldiers!!! If we go into a serious battle, the DEF will be wiped out!!! Master Chief Petty Officer Gasmaskbandit, MA'AM!!!! We have to find a way to increase our numbers!!! If we wait any longer, it may be to late!!! We barely won the summer battle, and that was against the other cities, and they're pathetic!!! Imagine if we go into a fight with a competent enemy... We would get annihilated. I have no doubt that the DEF is the greatest fighting force in Gaia. No doubt. But we could still be outnumbered and overun.

Private, We are called the ELITE forces for a reason.
We may be small in numbers, but we take care of business.
Most of the worlds best soldiers work together in small groups.
Groups smaller than our own.
Chances are, we will gain members with the next great battle.
Do not worry about our strength.
Do not worry about our numbers.
We will prevail.

i see both sides. while yes, the greatest groups were the smallest numbers, we also have to think about other tactics that involve larger numbers. example: big red 1. those guys were the best at what they did, and they were a whole squadron.
it seems as though i must come to a concensus. when i do i'll get back to you guys.
