The training ground is in a Large forest clearing at the base of a rocky mountain a safe distance from the village. There is a large lake on the southern side of the clearing. It was chosen because of the size and the balance of the elements that surrounds the area.

Kurogane stood in the middle of the clearing with his arms crossed waiting for Ray. 'The demon inside of him. Do I train him to be strong and master the demon, or do i try to weaken him so that he is less of a threat?' Kurogane looked up at the sky and sighed. "I hate this job."

Ray showed up shortly and looked around. It was a good thing he had such a strong sense of smell, or he'd have had a very hard time finding this place. Since it'd been a while since he was this far away from the village without being on a mission. After giving a long hard look at the training ground, he finally ran out into the middle of the field and bowed to Kurogane and said "I'm ready sir!".
He managed to contain his excitement, since he was without a doubt glad to be here. His mind raced as he tried to guess what he would learn first. I wonder if I'll learn other chakra elements first, or if we'll start working on water jutsus? I'm curious why he thinks I'll be able to learn a FIFTH element though. I mean, even he only has four.

Kurogane uncrossed his arms before sliding into a fighting stance. "Before we begin, I want to see your skill." An evil smirk appeared on his face. "I want you to hit me as hard as you can with only taijutsu. No weapons." Kurogane had his reasons. To use great jutsu you had to be in good physical shape. With good training a B rank can be as strong as an S rank.

Ray grinned At hearing this. Brute strength was one thing he wasn't lacking in. His bloodline made being fit easy. The bloodline also caused his love for living outside. He couldn't remember the last time he'd used his apartment for sleeping. It was natural that his taijutsu would be well honed. Laughing he said "I've no idea how my strength will compare to yours, but it's one thing I pride myself in. I don't have a completed fighting discipline yet, but I'll try using it for this test, since it'll let me put put as much strength into one hit as I can."
Ray dashed to the other side of the field, the turned around when he was at the desired distance, at the edge of the training ground. Crouching onto all four, his leg bent almost unnaturally far back. Digging his claws into the ground, his ears straightened back, and his tail flicked a few times before becomes rigid. With his smile now replaced with a serious composure. He was carefully calculating the distance and the terrain. He'd already decided where he'd strike. Now he was taking every possible factor into account. When he was done, he nodded and crouched even closer to the ground, if that was possible.
He finally launched, and he was putting everything he had into it. He barely lifted off the ground, but he was three feet in front of Kurogane after three strides. Digging his fist into the ground, he used it as an anchor and rotation point as he used all the speed he built getting there to do a two legged sweeping-style kick. Directed at the Kage's lower body, going for a kidney hit. (If you know anything about boxing, you know this is where the best punches land.)

Kurogane smirked at Ray's style, very good for his type, but not good enough. Kurogane was a master of CQC and this was excellent in countering all taijutsu. Kurogane caught the kick with his left arm before rapidly thrusting his shoulder into the knee with enough force to hyper-extend it while his right arm deflected the 2nd kick down into the ground.

Ray was surprised at the counter-attack. Luckily for him, his legs bent in ways a human's shouldn't, or he'd be one knee cap short. He got a pretty close look at the nearly crippling two-part reaction. He didn't like having his legs separated like this. He was gonna have to think quick if he planned on making it past the first few second. He knew he wasn't going to win in brute strength, so he was gonna have to use his arms to free himself up. Which wouldn't be easy, since he was hanging sideways in midair with his legs being held in two different places.
Ray did have one advantage over Kurogane when it came to his body. He had a tail! Wrapping his tail around Kurogane's knee, he pushed away from Kurogane with the foot that had been hit to the ground, trying to twist himself so he other leg wasn't in danger of being bent farther then it already had. If he could make Kurogane lose his footing, they would be on equal terms, both fighting in a mid-air grapple. It was better then being stationary in the air while the opponent was well grounded.
(woot! It's been a while since I RPed a fight like this! You really got a think!)

Kurogane collapsed his leg while lacing his other foot under Ray throwing hum into the air while he fell onto his back and started a form of his Champuru Kendo, and using his hist and legs instead of a sword. "Konoha Reppu" Kurogane twisted while planting his hands firmly on the ground sending a swift kick up at the falling Ray.

Ray barely managed to readjust his falling course so he wouldn't take a spine hit. Instead, his his right shoulder plate came down on Kurogane's kick. This caused him to twist so he was stomach down, but it wasn't centered enough to send his flying again. He managed to laugh between the gasps of pain. Just barely grabbing Kurogane's leg, he took advantage of the fact he was already spinning, and yelled out "Silver Fang!", which added an extreme twist to his falling, and it was enough for him to shoot past Kurogane while holding his leg.
Crap crap crap crap! I'll show him creative strategy! was all he could think. Ray didn't intend to lose miserably in this fight.

Kurogane laughed as Ray dashed away. "Konoha Senpu" The kick caught the spinning ray in the side sending him strait up into the air where Kurogane appeared in Ray's shadow. "Come on. You haven't even hit me yet."

"Unfortunately you've just opened yourself up for the hit!" Ray knew the shadow leaf dance inside out, and he knew exactly how he was gonna use it now. Ray endurance was running low, since he had already taken three hard hits without returning any. Thank the gods I've got ragdoll-like flexibility... Was the first thing that came to mind as his arms shot out behind him, and he dug his claws into Kurogane's shoulder. He growled at the pain such a movement caused his shoulder, but it wasn't going to stop him. Pulling Kurogane just slightly close to himself and used his favorite technique once more "Silver Fang!". This time, he was taking Kurogane for the ride. He didn't forget to whip Kurogane with the needle sharp hair on his tail either.

(Can you give your jutsu descriptions in your profile? I'm assuming this is like the piercing fang.)
Kurogane growled as the claws shot into his shoulders, and could hear the Ray saying the name of his jutsu. 's**t! Looks like he got me, maybe training this kid won't be such a wast of time after all.' Kurogane had used is feet to pin Ray's tail to his leg so that the razor like fur would not slice him, he also grabbed Ray's wrist and pried them of his shoulder. He was lucky that Ray had missed the main nerve so his arms were still able to function.
Before the attack could go on too long Kurogane pushed himself away from ray, landing on the ground a rough 25M away. "Enough." His voice was stern and commanding, yet it held a certain...praise to it. "I see that you were able to hit me, something only Miyoko has been able to do." Kurogane walked under at tree to sit in the shade before he continued. "Now I want you to show me exactly what you can do in the way of jutsu."

(Yea, silver fang is almost the same thing, except your hair becomes sharp, and it's a clan technique.
Thanks. I'd had time before where I combined Kage Buyo and silver fang, I'd never thought of using someone else's Kage Buyo till now.)
Ray continued to shoot through the air for a little bit before he came to a stop and landed roughly at the edge of the training ground. Making sure his shoulder wasn't hurt too badly, Ray placed his hand on it, and covered it with a light blue aura for a few seconds. When he tested it's full range of motion again, it was back to normal. Satisfied, he made his way to Kurogane. Bowing as he normally did, he said confidently "Well, as you just saw, I know the mystical palm technique, which my mother taught me when I was younger, since she was a medical ninja.".
He then performed the 'dog' seal, and in multiple puffs of smoke, four grey wolves appeared. Patting one of their heads he said "This is basically the shadow clone technique, but my blood adds a twist to it. Not to say I couldn't learn to create human shadow clones, but this is much easier, and takes less chakra for me. The other jutsu I know are..."
After listing off the jutsu he knew, he then added "Though when it comes to Genjutsu, I'm not very good. I only learned the false surroundings technique cause the best way to prepare yourself against genjutsu is understanding them enough to be capable of using one. Oh, I forgot, I know Rasengan. It wasn't that hard to learn actually, Mystical Palm was harder, but that might be because I learned mystical palm when I was younger.".

Kurogane held up his hand to silence the Jounin. "Rasengan you say. The Jutsu created by the legendary 4th Hokage. That is a very unique skill, and also one that is not complete." Kurogane held out his hand with his palm up. "Burning fist." His hand suddenly ignited with startling power making the entire area warmer. "This is my own jutsu, the burning fist. It incorporates my Natural ability of Fire and turned it into a weapon of incredible power." Kurogane closed his hand and extinguished the flames. "Rasengan is a spacial jutsu, yet you have multiple chakra affinities. You need to incorporate your Elemental control into the Rasengan. This will be your first test with me."
(Any chance you can make a Japanese name for my jutsu?)

(Sure, Burning fist will be easy... Nenshou Kobushi. It's the most exact translation I could find. Here's a good link for translating english to english spelled japanese. Rather then most translators, which give you Kanji, which can't be deciphered easily.) Ray though about all of this for a moment. He'd never thought about using other chakra elements in rasengan. It made sense, but electricity was what he was thinking about. "With electrical chakra, wouldn't it wind up with me performing chidori? I mean, I don't think it would wind up that way. Since chidori is just electrical chakra concentrated in your hand, rasengan swirls the chakra...". He then thought to himself I'm examining it too closely. Sometimes you just gotta try it, give it a shot with water first. You need to practice controlling the water chakra anyways.. Nodding his head slowly as he thought, he suddenly snapped back into reality and shook his head. He then added "Never mind that. I was thinking too much. I'll start trying to do rasengan with water chakra. Here goes...". Holding his his hand to his side palm up, he concentrated as hard as he could. First thing that showed up was a sphere of chakra. It was green though... "Now just add the water chakra and swirl it...". His fingers clenched slightly as the orbs filled with blue chakra. Suddenly the orb popped like a water balloon. A mixture of water and blue chakra flew from the orb, though there wasn't a lot. Closing his hand into a first, Ray closed his eyes and took a deep breath. Without saying a word, he started over...
