I decided to put a log of my games and how they went here, along with a place of statistics for myself. I believe this will help me remember my experiences in this guild and may help anyone who decides to continue reading this to remember some things that could help them later. Anyway, that's it for the introduction.
SCHWAM! SCWAAAM!
If you are wondering why my log is stickied, it is because I was the original founder of the Game Log idea. XD Our guild is considering invoking this policy of naming the subforums of the guild after those who pioneered their arrival, and possibly to sticky the topic the person may have created to promote such an idea.
Sin's Log is organized in a color scheme.
Blue--Unofficial/Incomplete Game
Black--Normal Game
Red--Quick Chess (Played with a bishop, knight, queen, and king.)
Orange--Modified Lightning Chess (Played with king, Bishop, and Queen)
Green--Guild vs. Guild games. >3 OWNAGE! hehe.
Games
---Game one (Jan 20th)
Played against Essouffle. In this game I used my move "The King's Cell" to defeat my opponent in three moves. I was unconfident and it turned out ending well.
---Game two (Jan 20th)
In this game I once again played against Essouffle--my rival--and tried "The King's Cell". However, he thwarted my attempt and the game lasted long and was almost evenly matched.
---Game three (Jan 20th)
Against Essouffle for the third time in a row. I did not try "The King's Cell" in this game. It proved to last long. He did well. I required some advice from my teammates to defeat him. Two of them were Res Novae and Hotehnoez, I believe. I do not remember the name of my other parters who were there when we defeated Essy.
--Game four (Jan 22nd)
Played against Hotehnoez. The game ended with me beating Hoteh with the move that I have chosen to name "The King's Cell" in four moves. It has proven to be useful to me in two matches. He seems to have been rather disoriented from all the chatter that was going on. It may have lead him to make the move that ruined his chances. He will have to brush up on ignoring the conversation or finding some way to not see it, if he is to do well against the opposing guild in the upcoming match. Hoteh suggested him setting up his own chess board at home. I think that will do nicely.
--Game five (Feb 2nd)
This was a game against Fabricated Heirophant. It was played with a queen, rook, and king on both sides. I was black team. What helped me greatly in this game was when Fab failed to remember that Myth was my queen, and I used her to take Essy. XD After that, it all basically went downhill for Fab. I did not lose any pieces at all. The end of my perfect record came by this: Instead of Moving Bal_Lance up left two (which would have put Fab in Checkmate), I moved him up right two, Which put him in Stalemate. I really do need to remember that a king can't take a piece to move into check, especially when I am under stressful situations (I was so worried about my perfect record, I ended up smudging it. >.< ), and to realize that it would be good to closely examine all options before picking one out of a rush. I need to try to keep my calm.
I did try to let this game roll over in a cloud of smoke, never to be seen. I even payed Lance 5k as an "unrelated gift for my gratitude of his mouth-shutting". XD It conflicted with me morally, to disgrace my own Log of my honor like that. Besides, the only person that my Game Log is really here for is me. It is here to help me later, and if I ignore this non-win then I will ignore a chance to remember to be better.
--Game six (Feb 7th)
This game was against Essouffle. On the second turn I took his queen, ryu, and then the Essy's towns window went down. Ryuuna took his place and then I took her bishop. It was just a matter of time ebfore the checkmate. I lost no pieces. I will count this as a loss on Essouffle's part, since it was his fault that the queen was killed(If you don't count me forcing him to leave it vulnurable). XD
--Game seven (Feb 8th)
This was played against Ryuuna-chan. It was another perfect game, no losses of pieces on my part. I had formulated a strategy from the start, which lead me to victory. She did last a couple turns longer than I had expected, but it was minimal discomfort. I kept my calm during this whole game and it seemed to prove a great asset for my victory.
Well played, everyone! n_~
