We must address it, I am getting annoyed and no doubt you all are too.
We will discuss a the problem and the solution and at the end I will put up a poll on ideas how to solve it and we'll vote.
ONLY CREW MEMBERS
This includes
Crew
Vice Captains
and the Captain who might not show cause he is having difficulties with his connection, we will move on with out him.

I say we delete all that have not posted in a 3 month period. It's time to get serious, we've tried warnings, we've tried reminders, nothing is working. If we kick them out we show them we mean business. Then once those are gone we shall...I don't know yet, does having a big member list really count if we don't have any posts?

Exactly, we've tried everything, I remodeled the guild from head to toe and nothing, people were active for all of 5 seconds and then poof off to lala land again.

That deleting ppls would work but if they dont even know they were part of the den its not gonna matter if we mean business or not. They arent gonna know that they were tossed out of a guild. When you get tossed out dose it send you a message?
If it dose im sure the ppls getting thrown out would only go
"Wtf i was in THAT guild? wierd"
and go on with there Gaia lives.
But i go agree that we should start kicking out inactive members.

Right now we need to think of other ways, the orignal shadows den was fun because only regular members of the den were allowed in, there was a lot of people back then, they all poofed when ******** Bryer sold the guild.

Yes it does send you a message when booted out of a guild. And Jay has a point, even if you go around booting them and they get the message, if they weren't attending the guild to begin with, they probably won't care.
Might I suggest PM'ing those who are inactive and simply asking them what's goin' on? Sure it'd probably take a while but you never know what could've happened. Some of them could've been hacked, changed their accounts, lost their passwords, Simply not have been online, or simply lost interest in the guild.
Not that I'm against the booting option, but I suggest finding the WHY so that we might improve the guild in the long run before going and nuking people on "The List"

I think we should be a bit more gentle from the get-go with them, maybe send out a warning to everyone telling them that if they don't post, even a single post, within the next week or so then they'll be removed from the guild.
We could try holding a few contests, I can sponser one with multiple prizes or something I guess, they prizes wont be like amazing or anything, but still.
We could add in a few games, such as "The Person Above You" game.
I dunno, you guys I feel mean simply kicking people out for lack of posting, but it's even pissing me off with the lack of people.

Bobbys tried the contest thing. it still just runs down to getting ppls to come back. Or come period. Gaia needs to make it so that Guild Captains can send out mass mails to the Guild members. Thats would keep ppls up to date with s**t we are doing.

almost all the people in the guild, you cant see there profile or send them a message. its retarded. good luck on sending them warnings. im sure half dont even check there profiles for messages either. Also, check the last logged in.

I like Kiki idea however like Jblade said the game thing has been done, many a time, for a while we did an art contest and such, quite frankly if they post, I don't care if its once a week or something they could say what they want. I am just so tired of working my a** off to make the 20k I spent look worth it, and every time I'm disappointed.

I agree we should do something how does it sound that we offer a mass contest i have a bunch of Items im not using that we can use as prizes. and i wish that i could message all the members at once so i have an idea that may suit all of our needs:
-We send out mass PMs for the contest but a contest that would require lots of user involvement...
-those we cant send messages to ban them if we can not contact them then we can not warn them of the den or the contests!!!!
-if they've not been on gaia for more than 3 months Ban them
-we can make them REINTRODUCE THEMSELVES as a requirement for entering the contests. no intro no contests kinda thing and give them a reasonable time limit once that expire they are banned.
These are just a couple sugestions i can think of... i know i dont post as much as i should i am pushing hard to have my home internet running soon but all recent attempts have failed... and if we go through messaging people we should divide it up with those can do this. I love coming here i must admit that im not the most social person on the block but i do warm up to people.
But ive even personally invited some of my friends but even that has failed. i had hoped to start a chain i invite them and they get people to join but i guess we need more dramatic measures now....
I will be on again Wednesday Janurary 30th in the Evening and again Saturday February 2nd all day and Sunday February 3rd untill about 3pm EST

I've got it! Like bobby said, people who have no items on their avas, or haven't been on since they joined the guild should be banned, and the mass pm thing could work, I'm not that active because mostly I am fed up with only talking to like 4 or 5 people, and quite frankly it is disappointing to me every time I come in and NO ONE is here sept Kiki JJ Bobby and Oni. If we could really push this guild off the ground I would be here all the time! When I am not at work of course.

ok sow what should we do? besides the banning we need a good attraction. something fun and interesting that will keep peoples attention. no matter how busy you are if something has your intrest you will be more likely to keep up with it but the question should be "WHAT?" what will keep a mass number of people interested in the guild we all keep coming cause we are friends and we know eachother.... how ever thats not gonna hold for everyone else here....
