Game #1- The guild vs guild match on Friday January 25th, 2008. The opposing team lacked a number of pawns, but didn't seem to complain about missing pieces until losing a few others. I made two small sacrifices. A pawn and bishop. It probably should have been three. Anyways, I found it rather easy to control their moves. I'd consider this a half game since the opponent didn't have a full set. A good victory nonetheless. ^^

It was the largest game that I've ever seen. It was almost complete too! That's like the biggest problem, getting enough players but we at least solved this problem sufficently. The backup plans were great! I was one of them and I got to play that was the fun part.

Down side was that not everyone got to play (which isn't always the case but not always do all the pieces get moved in a game.) and that the other team wasn't organized. Thankfully we got some people to come in and play the other teams pieces.

Another issue was that there were too many people talking (both sides) while the game was in motion. I think perhaps another means of sharing move ideas would be best for future games. I mean... we could see other people's bubbles... at least we didn't have the hacker commentary. That would have been hell.

Not all the people got there at the right time. I think maybe making sure that the hours are posted in Gaia time rather than real time that varies great depending on where we are. Will help with arrivals and what not. Then we can put the times in our own local areas if needed.

The bonuses were that I've never seen a game actually get set in motion and then actually get to play with almost all the pieces. That was the biggest thing for me.

I loved how our team was pretty good about listening and getting to their spaces when they were moved. It was fabulous to see the conducting going on. I loved it!

No for the next game I want to see if we can do a totally "In-house" game, meaning both black and white teams be from this guild. Don't know if we can get enough people on or not... but I sure can hope! That's my commentary on this and I shall start a new topic for the next game! biggrin
