So I was reading Wikipedia profiles for the Avatar characters, and as I read Ozai's, I suddenly thought that him and Hama would make an interesting couple. If you look at it, he wants to wipe out the other nations, and what Hama wants most is for the Fire Nation to fall. Even though they would hate each other, they have such common personalities that I think that they might just have a chance.

Of course, this is a crack pairing brought about by the creative reaches of my mind. Feel free to discuss and hopefully bring up better points than I did. I'm still trying to figure out why I like this so much.

Oh, and one more piece of randomness. I am officially naming this ship 'Ozama'.

Makes sense.

Take Zutara.
+ an even greater burning hatred of each other
+ Hama being inprisoned in the Fire Nation... (hey, Ozai could have visited her)

and

- the meeting and joining up

That equals...

When Ozai was a handsome young prince, went to town and met an attractive older innkeeper. She was older, but hey...It's not unheard of for a teen aged boy to have a thing for an older woman. "Got it bad for the teacher" anyone? They had a short fling until Ozai's daddy said it was indecent to be dating a woman old enough to be his mother, so Ozai ran off and got married, eventually having Zuko and Azula.

And with fandoms, it's true until proven otherwise.
Besides, the creators have used fan based things before. Remember the one man army? If we're lucky, they'll make this cannon too.
