People go either way with Belldandy. Either she is viewed as an archaic fantasy girl for men who prefer their girlfriends to act like indentured servants, or she is a flawless example of graceful femininity. Either she's a total spaz, a ditz, an airhead, nothing more than an accessory to make Keiichi look good, or she is a goddess, the perfect woman, a lady of beauty and compassion and kindness, whose gentle wisdom, tempered with a strong will and an almost naive, childlike determination to see the good in everyone.
To you, which is she?

In my eyes,
Beridandi is the paragon of feminine grace, compassion, and spirit. She DOES have her moments of silliness, but it is eclipsed by her taking it to heart and using it to better herself in the end.

The weird thing is, there are people who embody some, if not all, of Belldandy's attributes.

I adore characters like that. It's not so much people embody the good in them, but they embody the good in everyone else. It's not like they don't have flaws - they do - but they have so many good qualities, and it's like if you can identify a good quality in someone, they have it too. Keiichi and Belldandy have between them so many good and wonderful qualities that they're something that everyone can admire. But sometimes, I'm scared that love like that can't really exist... Tohru Honda is another one.
