i love maya angelou...i thought i was the only one!!! here is one of my fav. of hers...hope you like it to.

The sun has come.
The mist has gone.
We see in the distance...
our long way home.

When the first stone looked up at the blazing sun
and the first tree struggled up from the forest floor

It hummed like a hive of honey bees.
I reached in the mass for the sweet honey comb there....

i have read some of her poetry and like what i have read. this one i posted was posted on my myspace by a friend who likes to post daily motivational things. she calls them her "positive attitude adjustments". lol i really love the one you posted! it is so beautyful and true!
