Since im eagerly awaiting super smash brothers brawl for the wii, what do you guys think of the character roster, stages, and stuff so far?
I have to say im a bit disappointed with the line up of charcters, i thought there would be less "clone characters" - characters with a different move set than another character. Example - marth/roy from smash brothers melee - same moves with different aspects attached.
For those that dont know all the characters are
-Mario
- Luigi
- Peach
- Bowser
- Samus/zero suit samus
- pit
- metaknight
- snake
- fox
-falco
- wolf (fox's rival)
- link
- zelda/shiek
- ganondorf
- windwaker link
- pikachu
- jigglypuff
- lucario
- ness
- lucas
- captain falcon
- marth
- ike
- wario
- king dedede
- ice climbers
- captain olimar
- mr. game and watch
- sonic
- pokemon trainer

King Dedede? I can only think him a moron with that name..
sonic shouldnt be in it, nor windwaker link and link, one or the other not both!!!

King Dedede is a penguin king (i think he is a penguin) from kirby.
sonic shouldnt be in it at all.. but he was the most requested character to be in melee so they threw him in this game. though it seems sonic has been popping up everywhere lately

There can be two links. There was Link and Young Link in Melee. King Dedede is like the Bowser of the Kirby universe, and he's like a big fat penguin-y thing. I'm pissed that they haven't put any more Metroid characters. Don't even tell me they can't, I know damn well Dark Samus can be put in there, and you can shrink Ridley down to Bowser size and stick him in there.
Oh, and there's no a single damn good reason for SONIC to be in this game when they could have damn well threw Dark Samus in there and made more of the people who really count, like myself, happy =[

Nintendogs is an item-attack thing xDD Thats awesome. I can't beleive they actually put Snake in there, so awesome.

I haven't touched my copy all that much. I don't even have Snake yet sweatdrop
But my bf's copy has everyone but Sonic, as far as we can tell. And he's likely been playing it all morning xd ;

i havent palyed all of it yet but i love it so far! yes i finally got my wii dang it! so far i like, Ike, and Pit for new charcters, I will have to try ther rest

Peach was my favourite in Melee, with Sheik as my second-favourite.
In Brawl, I find Peach is a little slow, and the majority of my deaths are due to her third jump.
So, I've switched to Pit, since I find his third jump to be more than a little broken. And he's fun. And I've actually managed to beat my bf with him on several occasions [most of the other times I end up getting pwn'd by assist trophies and super smashes].
And it's not like my bf is just ok at it. At our tourney on Tuesday, everyone was worried [and pwn'd] when they were matched against him. Him, and another good gamer who was using Meta Knight, who is hella broken.
Meta Knight has more reach than Pit, yet is half his height [Pit's arrows fly over Meta Knight's head]. MK is heavier, not much slower, deals more damage, has good jumps, has a powerful super smash... WHERE ARE THE DRAWBACKS?!
But yeah. Brawl is fun. I'm just a little tired of it since it's one of the only two things I've been doing since Sunday xd
