this is something that, to be honest, im just repeating but is very important to me that bro.Sean(my youth pastor) has been talkin about and i want to ask yall what he's asked us: What is worship to you? he kinda finished last night and told us like his 'pastor definition' is-a whole life response to God for who He is and what He has done- which pretty much nails it if you ask me but i still want to ask: WHAT IS WORSHIP TO YOU?

Anyway, I think worship to me is a little of all of it. Like, there's special worship, like praying and singing songs and going to church, and then there's worship that you have to focus on every day. I believe that worship is something that you live out rather than participate in. Like, our life goal should be to live as though we're worshiping the living God and thanking him for how wonderful he is to us.

worship...hmmm....to me, it's like bowing down before God and giving Him glory, whether praising with music, blessing Him by reading His word, talking w/ Him by praying...wutevah u wanna do. it's worhipping Him. heart

~I love it when worship surprises me in the middle of my day. I've read articles on how there's a certain 'lifestyle' of worship. That little things like going to the store can be to the glory of God.
But what I love the most is when I'm not in a hurry and the sunlight is warm. And I can just pray to God where ever I am, even if I don't have much to say.
It's in those moments that I feel God the strongest. It's one of many forms of worship, and my personal fav.~

To me right now, the biggest thing I can do to worship God is to wake up every morning and tell him I'm going to try my very best no matter what he throws at me, good and bad. I'm not good at just accepting things as they come. Recently, I've gotten to a point where I'm afraid of living. I have violent reactions to everything, good and bad. But lately, I've calmed down and been able to accept that I'm not in control and that it's not my place to accept to get my way. And I've discovered that I don't have to feel like I'm a good little Christian girl to be okay with God, I just have to give it my best shot and trust him to make of it what he feels is right.
