{guidelines for OOC use}
Okay kiddies, here it is: What can you do in the OOC and what can you NOT do? We've set up a few simple guidelines so that no one abuses the sacred laws of appropriate OOC use. Let me open by saying that the guild OOC does NOT = Chatterbox Forum.

{general guidelines} o1. No Chatterbox. As I said before, this thread is not for mindless chatter and it's not a free for all bump-fest. If you want to bump for gold or chat non-guild related, go to 'The Break Room' thread or to Gaia's Chatterbox Forum.
o2. Same rules apply. Although, you don't have to maintain third person, past tense or the paragraph minimum, you will be held up to the guild standards of ettiquette. This means no flaming, nothing too raunchy and no breaking TOS.
o3. Do not try to post your questions here. For now, take them to the suggestion box. You can post up any inquiries in the Questions & Assistance subforum.

{profile threads} Ah- the endlessly useful profile and character description threads. We know that it can be highly irritating to clutter up your roleplay thread with page after page of character profiles (or in a single extremely long post) so we've created the OOC to house your profile pages. In order to preserve some orginization, we request that you label your profile page title so that it matches your actual roleplay. Here are a few things to keep in mind when creating your profile pages:
o1. Title. If the title of your RP is "Naruto: Rise of the Ninja", consider labeling your profile page "Naruto: Rise of the Ninja Profiles". Sounds simple? We'll see how many people get it. xD
o2. Posts. You have an ENTIRE thread to use for your profiles so rather than putting all of your profiles in one massive post, you may want to create a separate post for each profile.
o3. Player participation. It's much easier to alter profiles when the players post up their character descriptions themselves. This way, when the players want to change a detail in their description or add something on you won't be bombarded with a million "Please change my profile" PMs. If you give them a good skeleton profile, there's no reason they shouldn't put it up themselves, eh?
Keep in mind, these are just tips and not rules

{planning threads} Another thing that can be greatly beneficial to RP owners is establishing a planning and and roleplay discussion thread. This way, players can discuss plot twists, character developement, and things of the like. A planning thread is also a great place to recruit new members and train them before they start roleplaying.
o1. Title. Just like your profile page, it helps if it matches the title of your RP.
o2. Updates. The planning page is a great place to keep story updates that may otherwise not fit on your roleplay front page.
o3. Training. New players can learn the ropes by practicing with other players and getting feedback on their roleplaying.
o4. Character Creation. The community atmosphere is very beneficial when creating a character. Players can discuss their new creations and get critiquing from other players.
Keep in mind, these are just tips and not rules
