{the break room}
No work day would be complete without that thirty minute-break that you know should have only taken you five minutes at most. It is with these thoughts in mind that I present to you The Break Room, where all your non-roleplay chatter and discussion goes. So grab a snack, kick back and relax. It’s break time.

{rules} o1. Follow the Gaia TOS. We expect you all know what that means, right? Good.
o2. Be polite. Don't flame someone for ANY reason. Not only is it rude it is intolerable and will not happen here.
o3. While you aren't required to write three paragraphs minimum as this isn't an rp thread, you are asked to just use nice grammar. It makes things easier to read. The occasional lol and j/k are fine. But please don't go caps lock crazy or type sentences like L33t!!!!111 or 'KEWL AVI!!!111' or anything like that. It annoys some people.
o4. Maturity is a must. End of discussion. If I read one thing that is deemed immature I will be all over you like white on rice. Got it? We're all big kids here, or so I'd like to think so. Let's act like it.
o5. If you have a problem with a fellow guild member, please let a mod know. Don't take the matter into your owns hands as that will more than likely escalate the problem. To report a problem, follow the procedure outlined here in the 'Reporting Abuse' section.
o6.Have fun. We're all here to learn and get better at our role playing skills.

{thread indicators} As said in the Welcome Thread many topics sometimes fail due to lack of participation. So, there are topic indicators in the OOC area too! Keep in mind that topic indicators while they are not mandatory, they are helpful for guild members to identify what your thread is about.
[Pt]=Planning Thread [R]=Recruiting [Pr]=Profile Thread [Pv]=Private Thread
If your topic falls under several categories, use the one(s) that best fit your thread. Also, have an indicator that you think should be listed? Let us know!
Regarding Inactive Threads: What happens to inactive threads? Threads that are inactive for more than two months will be deleted. If you want your thread to be deleted sooner, change the title to DELETE or PM a crew member to delete it for you. If you want your thread to be saved, change the title to DO NOT DELETE or PM a crewmember to have it locked.

Aha- It turns out I beat the crowd here after all. Very nice work, McDoogle. Now that we've established such a wonderful chat room-- What will we do with it?
a) Discuss whatever we want that doesn't fit into one of the other haphazardly created subforums and/or threads. b) Crowd the thread with colorful megalithic BUMP signs. c) Annoy Shino until she beats us with her handy mallet. OR d) All of the above.
I personally pick C being the masochistic fool that I am.

Why thank you Hitsugaiya-kun. I must say I am rather proud of it myself. I think I did a pretty bang up job if I do say so myself. But what do you think we should do?
{a} Find out what happened to Onii-chan {b} Beg people to join our guild {c} Pummel Hitsugaiya-kun for annoying me
or
{d} A healthy combination of all of the above.
Personally, I prefer option d. I just can't decide.

O.o
I pick option... not C.
If we find Kunasaki, you can take out all of that healthy angst on him. Then again, he's delicate and doesn't bounce back as quickly. I must be accustomed to corporal punishment. Woe is me- The thralls of being married.
We really do need to recruit, though. Oh, and the crew lounge still needs three more threads to be created. 'Reporting Abuse', 'Suggestion Box Review/ Jury', and 'Guild Policy'. Lord knows I don't want to make all of those on my own. Damn Kunasaki!! I need him to be a moderator/ forced laborer.

:3 That's what I thought you would say. Besides, being married isn't that bad my dear.
Hmm, maybe we should flood Onii-chan's inbox with messages to get him to respond to us. lol
O.o Oh Hitsugaiya-kun! Can I please do the reporting abuse thread? Pretty please? I'll love you even more than I do now...even though that might not be possible. But you get the point right dear?
Please? -puppy dog eyes-

Can't... resist... eyes...
Fine. You shall have the Reporting Abuse thread, pumpkin. I know how fond you are of executive order and militant action-
You'll be responsible for deciding who is and is not suitable for the guild. You'll have to send cruel and inhumane messages to weak writers and struggling roleplayers of all ages. You may even have to hit some of them with the mallet.
... It's PERFECT.
I'm off to spam Kunasaki's inbox now- I think I'll send him a couple hundred images of the fish-mobile.

Yay! Thank you Hitsugaiya-kun~! -huggle-
I promise that I will do my job to the best of my ability. Besides, who better to whack some imbeciles with my mallet of justice?
The fish-mobile huh? That brings back good memories. Hmm, perhaps he'll get the point when he finds all those messages.
Poor Onii-chan.

Ronan Alexander Grey ____dont touch: Male ____keep moving forward: 24 ____dont you dare get me anything: December 18 ____desireable: Straight ____look upon your death: Black is pretty much the standard color for Ronan. Though his job doesn't call for a uniform exactly, he is never seen without a black suit and dark glasses. Upon raiding his closet, one would find nothing more than a couple of black suits and numerous white collared shirts. With his tall stature and the numerous scars marring his body, blending into the classy and delicate crowds of Harmony is quite a difficult task. His hair is a deep black and his skin tanned from exposure to the outdoors. For someone of such height (6'5"), he is very agile in his movements and has a quick reaction time. Although Ronan sports only fine-tailored suits, his style is very laid back and he maintains a casual air. The one "sin" he can't rid himself of is his need for cigarettes. Since moving to Harmony, he's smoked less and less- especially in the presence of the royal family- but he is still seen more often than not with a cigarette. ____background check: "Harmony" is not a word suited for a man such as Ronan. Having grown up on the rough-and-tumble streets in Pure, he is used to foul language, drugs, sex and violence. His childhood was a whirlwind of vicious battles between his father and stepmother. His mother, Prudence, had lived in Harmony before he was born, but met his father in a casino during a visit to Pure. His father was a casino owner and hussler, but somehow managed to sweep Prudence off of her feet. In a short time, Ronan was born and Prudence divorced the washed-up gambler to move back to Harmony. Ronan was left with his father, an abusive alcoholic, who lost the casino after a few years of bad judgement and remarried a ditzy woman named Bliss. Ronan was able to escape most of his father's violence, being far cleverer than the older man. He somehow managed to avoid the street gangs, as well. He kept up with current news and faced the unfriendly world with a openness to learn and change. Of course, he would never be able to afford to go to college and he just barely made it out of highschool alive. Still, Ronan has an uncanny street-sense and ever present logic that help to disguise his lack of traditional education. After spending a few years taking care of his father, who was beginning to suffer from his sinful lifestyle, Ronan decided enough was enough. He'd heard about the pristine and unblemished kingdom in Harmony and soon he couldn't stop thinking about the "better life". He was nineteen when, with the money he'd been saving to buy a new car, Ronan caught a flight across the seas and arrived in a small city in Harmony. To make a long story short, his arrival in Harmony was not at all what he'd expected. Rather than being allowed to move into a peaceful village or town somewhere, the government 'persuaded' him to work as a security guard in one of the larger cities. To his surprise, he excelled in this area and was especially gifted when using firearms (fantastic aim and quick reflexes from dodging beer bottles thrown by his father). In a short time, he caught the attention of the Royal Family, who found it in their best interest to hire him as a body guard. He accepted the job only to find out that he was also to be working as a hired mercenary, in a task force assigned to take out the Sins of Pure. For the next five years, Ronan honed his assassination skills and focused all of his energy on tracking down the Sins (And on using his new considerable salary to purchase fine black suits from a clothier in Health). ____just a color: Dark Gray ____makes me happy: -firearms; specifically a sniper gun and a black colt .45 -cigarettes -porn -cars -finely-tailored suits from Health -new weapon technology ____i'll kill it: -that idiot woman, Bliss -snobby kids that don't know the meaning of danger -snakes (there weren't too many animals in the city of Pure) -gambling -alcohol -peanut butter -Sins ____soothes the savage beast: Bang Bang (My Baby Shot Me Down) ____no free will: ll kakashi ll

Thanks, babe. You know me- Always gotta be the odd one out. I'm still working on the bio, it sounds a little dry. Should Ronan be the Captain of the Body Guard (I don't see that there's already one in place) or just a member?

Well, you wouldn't be special if you were like everyone else now would you darling? Hmm...I think he'd be good as a member. He doesn't exactly look like the type to lead, not in a bad way though.

You're right of course and thank God. He's more of a background guy. Probably a newer member that's not really intent on advancing his career plans. My idea was that he'd be one of those stationary characters that you can trust to be pretty steady throughout the RP. No sudden urges to overthrow the kingdom or run off with the sins or any of that nonsense. Leave that to the driven characters, eh?
I'm de-waifing the bio and I have to decide what else he dislikes.
