These Broad gates loom over anyone who wishes to enter the metropolis of the shinobi world. The wood is built of the highest timber and would require an immense amount of force to crack. The insignia spread upon the two swinging doors is the twisting leaf in red ink, which represents the Third Hokage's prophecy that this village would never die, and from the ashes of destruction, would rise again to face any threat. There's also an NPC guard, who is assigned from the group of Chunin in the village. He sits in a little shack just inside the gates and records all persons leaving and entering the village. Guards patrol the top of the walls, who are slightly lazy, and less qualified ninja, barely getting past the exams. For anyone with the slyest eye, one would notice the slight blur of an ANBU troop among the treetops.

((So yes, this is a kind of a fast-forward as to not impend on non-important issues, even though the show does it CONSTANTLY))
Tina Wu dragged her feet as she walked down the trail, even though testing her new pupil was interesting, it still had it's limits. Pit falls, swinging logs, falling boulders, even a spike trap had failed to satisfy her for the length of the trip. In a way, she wished something interesting would happen, not to a fatal circumstance, but something like being an instructor for the Chunin exams or something. Oh how she relished being able to set traps in all of the unique settings Konoha had behind it's doors, and still be revered as a responsible ninja. Even the Forest of Death was perfect for what she had in mind, despite all the natural dangers and potentially lethal obstructions. Many influential ninja had been spawned from it's womb and could sharpen the skills of many others. "Hey, what are you gonna do when..." Tina began to say, but a sudden gurgle in her stomache forced an uncomfortable silence. She hadn't really eaten in a while since they ran out of dumplings. It was then, in her moment of hunger that Konoha's gates came into view, in all their shining benevolence.

((Yeah, Silent Angel, you have to really pick it up and post a little more...))
"'Oy, that reminds me..." Tina drew out a kunai from her pouch and knelt next to the ground, "we need a good disguise for what you'll be doing for your true initiation." She held several vials out, and in a surge of chakra, created a metal headband, blank of any symbols. With her blade, she etched a somewhat crude leaf that imitated that of Konohas. With a wide and bright smile, she held up the new ninja band and showed her potential student. "You'll be posing as a leaf village genin," Tina coughed, changing the tone of her voice to the seriousness she had before, "Once inside, capture one of the new graduates, a genin and bring me his wallet. The trick is that he shouldn't recognize you if you bump into him again, and neither should anyone from inside realize that your from the sand." She knew she was setting the bar a little high, but this assessment and whether or not he could do it never really mattered. This was merely a test over his infiltration and stealth skills, something that should have been covered over basic training. "If you fail to accomplish these requirements then I won't accept you as my pupil." Tina slyly added, her hand stretching out so Sendo could grab the ninjaband.

((Ugh, not again... Do I have to pretend that yet another apprentice has disappeared because an activity check is going on? Rayxzerox2, you need to get a LOT more people to join this roleplay.))
Tina watched as Sendo went off with his task, hoping slightly that he would come back, but the mission she had assigned seemed impossible for many reasons. If he did fail, but actually tried, she would accept him. A success would be great considering that she was low on yen and needed another boost of money. It seemed that she would have to find a different way of living for a while. She put a hand sign in front of her and focused her chakra until it was enough to release. "Alterclone jutsu!" Tina cried as a puff of smoke enveloped her. Anyone watching would merely see the blur of a small silhouette bounding towards the top of the gate. As she landed, one could see that she now looked younger, a LOT younger to the point where she could be five. Her black hair danced with the wind as she dropped off of the top of the gate and inside the city.
