I took this from the Twilight page on MTV movies. If that's actually the premise of the movie... that he actually 'descended' from other vampires in the sense they are implying, then doesn't it just undermine Stephenie Meyer's insane creativity when it comes to her vampires? I really liked that she had a fresh take on them, like how the vampires don't descend from any other lines of vampires.
Then I thought, maybe they are using Stephenie Meyer's way, they just want to make it sound more appealing to audiences who don't understand her type of vampires. It still sort of annoys me though. ._.
Anyway, maybe I'm interpreting it wrong. I don't know. But I just really hope that they aren't going to make it into a generic vampire movie.

Woah... that is weird.... the person who wrote that probably knows very little about the movies and the books, so they did some guesswork.... I've been seeing that a lot lately...

Ugh. I hate that. I've actually been seeing multiple mistakes in the MTV Movies Blog stuff about Twilight. The horrible thing about it though, is that the people playing the characters are giving out false information in their interviews. Hopefully the movie doesn't turn out entirely different than the book, like Blood and Chocolate.

I think "descended from a long line of noble vampires" just means that his family, as in the Cullens, are also vampires. It doesn't mean that his real parents, grandparents, etc were vampires. And the noble part pretty much says that they're good vampires.

if i hadnt read twilight beforehand and i was just randomly checking summaries to see what movie i should watch, and i read that summary, it wouldnt get me hooked sweatdrop
