My Sims are destined not to have friends.
Here's my hilarious situation.
Enter Gabriel and Courtney, the two Sims in question.
Gabriel and Courtney want to get married and have a wedding party.
To have a good wedding party, you need friends, right?
Right.
So Gabriel makes friends with the local Mexican, Checo.
Enter me.
Sims was crashing, so I uninstalled one of the EPs.
Open for Business. Hate that one.
Turns out that Open for Business provided Checo with a phone.
Oops.
No phone means Gabriel can't call Checo.
Okay, so there goes our only friend.
After making many calls to local townie, Geoffrey,
We finally manage to make a friend.
Gabriel invites him over to hang out.
He brings his entire household.
Many hours later, Gabriel and Courtney get tired.
They go to sleep.
The three lazy bastards continued to mooch off of our hot tub.
Enter thunderstorm.
They finally get out of the hot tub.
Lightning strikes the yard.
Fire!
I manage to get down my view down there.
To see the friends dead.
We were not destined to have friends.

...that's what they get for mooching off the hot tub! Make them an example to all Sims that mooch off the tubs! twisted

Oh my gosh, that is so weird. I would have laughed so hard if that happened, unless I actually liked one of the townies that died or was going to use them for something. Hot tubs are so dangerous now with seasons. That's why any hot tubs my families buy will be indoors from now on.
At a party some of my sims had in college, the hot tub caught on fire with the guest still inside. Lcukily he got out and was put out as was the hot tub. He was actually the llama guy. He can take down a cow, but he never learned how to stop, drop, and roll. XD

Chaotic Domino Oh my gosh, that is so weird. I would have laughed so hard if that happened, unless I actually liked one of the townies that died or was going to use them for something. My cow's a bit easy. -.-' My hotubs never caught fire or made my sims get hit by lightning. None of my sims have ever gotten hit with lightning. (Okay, once, But I used boolProp to make that happen because my sim wanted it.) And I like Open for bussiness! It's cool! And Servos are useful! I have all the expansion packs except holiday. That cow thing never happened to me either. But I use boolProp, so that could be it. And I could just kill that cow off myself, so I wouldn't have that problem.

I suggest boolProp. Then you can shift click the mailbox and select 'Make friends for me' You get like 40 friends. I use it to get promotions for jobs and stuff.

*subtle eye twitch* Those stories scare me...a lot...Lol.
Ya, fire and Sims, a couple they do not make. There seems to be a bond between them, though, or at least for all the Sims that I know of.
Aw, Courtneysaur! *gigglesnort* That's gotta be about the grandest Sims story that I have heard yet, even though it was incredibly sad if not a bit funny. But still!

That is horrible...in an amusing way. It's sad to say that all the friends you made were somehow...ruined and then the lightning storm had to come.
I've never had anyone of my sims die in the hottub...must try! -evil laugh-

Once, I had a hottub (outdoors, but close to the house) and a friend came over. A little while after she arrived I forgot about her. After the family goes to bed I realize she's dancing outside, on fire. The man of the household rushes outside and puts out the fire. Only to find, the back of the house is on fire! The back of the house is the son's bedroom, son sets on fire. The fire is spreading. The father runs to put out the son, the mother is trapped in her room and can't call 9-1-1 (NEVER EVER FORGET THE FIRE ALARM!). So the dad runs, and calls, the son is dieing, the father puts him out seconds from death and I manage to save him. The firefighters come and put out the hosue fire. By the time it was done, I was so far off my seat I fell on the floor. sweatdrop
