why: Relm needs to tell Naruto Seifer would like to talk with him
It was a beautiful day. The sky was blue, new shoots of green grass sprouted, the breeze still cool. Relm giggled softly behind her brush in the middle of a painting as she looked at their picnic. Or rather... what was left of it. She had made sure to have plenty of food choices -though she was not so cruel as to not have plenty of ramen for her ninja beau. To whom the pictomancer playfully crinkled her nose before returning to her painting.
"Silly ninja..." She said with playful endearment.

Said silly ninja was currently running about the field he and Relm had set their picnic up at. He was dressed in his usual orange attire, holding a stick above his head and laughing as he ran from the large FTD that was chasing after him. The FTD in question was Brisco, the dog having given him "puppy eyes" when he was getting ready to leave and he brought him along so he could stretch his long legs. Kyubi was seated on Relm's beret, silently snoozing, her small belly full and all nine tails wrapped around her small frame.

Relm giggled anew hearing the loud 'humph!' sound coming from the big black and brown dog watching with golden eyes from the edge of the field. Interceptor could be quite jealous of his Relms when around other dogs -even when they were dogs he trusted as much as Brisco.
Laughing, Relm called out to the ninja. "You finished? I can put everything away and give the two of you more play area." Green eyes winked happily. How she did love her ninja.
Of course... there was something she felt she needed to bring up to him that the usually confident and ballsy girl was not quite sure how to broach. It brought back unhappy memories for her... but it might be worse for Naruto. Still... she could see how such a thing was likely needed, for their peace of mind and happiness.
Hopefully Naruto would see it that way when she suggested it.

Naruto stopped and threw the stick from his hand, laughing when Brisco barreled past him to go fetch it. He looked over to Relm when she spoke and he made his way over to her, unzipping his orange jacket and slipping it off, "Nah, we are good, and he is having fun just running around like a crazy dog!" he said, watching as the dog ran around a bit, stick in his mouth and then ran over to Interceptor, trying to get him into a game.

oh no. Now that was a way to cause Relm to forget anything else that was on her mind. Sucking in her breath sharply she stepped away from her easel and towards the shinobi to wrap her arms around him. Her green eyes were flashing with delight. "espers... Naruto..." Relm's alto said softly as she smiled into his eyes. Her hands lay flat against his back to feel the play of muscles there. "could you get any sexier?"
Huffing that he did not want to play Interceptor finally growled and snatched the stick away to 'toss' it for Brisco to chase. He did not play with anyone but Relm. End of story.

Blushing, he wrapped his arms around Relm's waist, chuckling over her whispered words and leaning over to kiss her lips lightly, "The only sexy one here is you Relm..." he whispered in a slightly husky voice.
Brisco, not really getting that Interceptor didn't want to play because...well...he just wasn't all that bright, barked when the stick was thrown and he fetched it, running back to Interceptor.

Her breath caught, he smile deepened as her ninja blushed & she felt his strong arms around her. Espers but she never grew tired of the feel of him! Green eyes fluttered shut for the brief but oh-so-sweet touch of his lips on hers. Her eyes were just fluttering open when his words... his voice... had her feeling quite week in the knees and shivering delightedly against him. When next she could speak her alto was quite husky as well. "Works evenly then, huh?" yeah... it made sense. Somewhere.
He was coming back? Growling softly Interceptor glanced at his Relm. humph. busy with the ninja. The trained attack dog sighed and waited to take the stick from Brisco again. Either he played with the spotted canine, or one of the anthro cats would have to. As far as Interceptor was concerned, protecting Relm included her happiness, and she was happy now. He tossed the stick again.

Brisco barked and chased after the thrown stick again, tail wagging in happiness. Naruto ran the tip of his nose against her cheek, taking in her scent as he held her close. He wanted to kiss her and do so much more, but he was distracted when he suddenly felt Kyubi plop onto his blond mop of hair, settling herself down on his head. His eyes looked upward, crossing a little, and then he closed them and chuckled, smiling a toothy grin.

Interceptor rolled golden eyes. Well it kept Brisco from the cat couple...
Relm started to purr very softly, eyes closing again at the feel of Naruto's nose upon her cheek. Then the weight of Kyubi upon her beret suddenly lifted and with that her eyes and Relm laughed warmly seeing both where the nine-tailed kochi landed and the way Naruto's lovely blue eyes crossed upwards. Smiling still she kissed the underside of his jaw before tucking her muzzle into his neck and pressing her body lightly against his. It felt so good to be close to him. "oh Naruto.... you're so silly..."

Naruto chuckled again and nuzzled the top of her head, purring deeply, holding her close. He then pulled back, smiling down at her, "I'm glad you suggested we go out today, it gets a bit crowded at home sometimes!" he said.

Relm laughed, winking teasingly at the ninja she loved. She was still purring lightly from being held so close only seconds before. Well and simply being in love too. "Doesn't it though? Glad you came... sometimes..." Her hands caressed his back. "I get selfish and want you all to myself." Laughing green eyes glanced up at Kyubi. "Well... mostly to myself." Winking again, Relm shifted her hands down over his posterior where they latched as she pulled him playfully against her. "mine..." Half teasing, half sincere, Relm grinned impishly at Naruto. A dare? Maybe. But for what she wasn't saying.

Kyubi continued to snooze away in Naruto's blond tresses, not having heard what Relm had said, or if she did, she didn't respond. Naruto squeaked and blushed brightly when she suddenly grabbed his rear and pulled him close and it took alot for him to not latch his hands onto something as well. He did chuckle and lean down and kiss her lips lightly, whispering, "Yours..."

She giggled at the expected squeak and blush -Relm would miss them if he ever became so comfortable with her doing this that he no longer reacted in such a way. Lightly she tossed her head sending light brown curls dancing, her smiling eyes seeming to dare him to do what she hoped & suspected her wanted to just before they fluttered slightly closed for the light kiss. Espers...
Relm was smiling broadly before even bothering to open her eyes. "Good." Her eyes opened with a playful wink as she gripped a little tighter. "Cause there's certain things, I just don't share well." Making a playful little growl Relm snapped her teeth lightly near his ear.

Naruto's large ear flicked when she snapped her teeth at it and he chuckled lightly, squeezing her lightly in his arms, "I would hope so!" he said. He reluctantly pulled away from her to look around, "I had better start getting home soon though, Manami wants me to go into town with her for something, some sort of gift she is getting Ryu and she wants my opinion, like I am the only male in the house!" he said, rolling his eyes, moving to start cleaning stuff up.

Her giggle at his chuckle and being squeezed again softened and saddened. "Awww..."
Her ears flicked. Ryo. Hadn't Seifer mentioned going fishing with the blue anthro? Her hands relaxed but lingered as Naruto stepped out of her arms. with a disappointed but slightly playful smile she moved to help & giggled. "Oh like you know him better than she does."
She was teasing, but then she grew serious. "Naruto... Ryo's hung out with him... but... Naruto... He asked if you would talk with him. Swore it was just to talk, but just you guys. Would you?"
