Hey! It is St. Patrick's Day!
Does everyone know the history? Thought we'd talk about it. lol
St. Patrick was originally stolen from his home to be a slave kinda Shepard in Ireland. He had a vision that helped him escape. Later he had a vision that he would save Ireland, and shortly after became a priest.
Now He was intent on converting the Irish to Christianity, and there were pictures (or at least one i saw) Of him "driving out snakes" but the snakes were believed to represent pagans... Sooo he was driving Paganism out of Ireland.
I wear green, dress up my avi, because i think it's fun ^_^ But i thought we'd just go over the history in case some didn't know.
