This is another novel I had to read for my English fiction course this semester. It was written by Micheal Dibdin and is really designede to screw you up entirely.
It's basically based on The Final Problem, the story by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle where he tried to kill off Sherlock Holmes (only to be met with a general public outcry to bring him back). The Final Problem is probably the most poorly written Sherlock Holmes story. But enough about that.
The Last Sherlock Holmes Story is the story of Sherlock Homes investigating Jack the Ripper, with just about as many twists and turns as a mountain path.
Has anyone else read the book?
I would highly recommend it if you enjoy a good surprise.
