So, last night (Saturday) after I got off work, around 7:30ish, I was with my parents at Buffalo Wild Wings. I was waiting for my dessert and I asked to have a controller to play the trivia game with. When it finally got there, I had to wait for my turn to join in the game, and when I looked to the leaderboard of the question just answered, guess who was in first place. It was "Mello." Yes, someone named themselves Mello, although if they knew the connection or not is beyond my knowledge. I just jumped up and down inside when I saw that. It was amazing, but then, when the next round started, they were in last with 0 points, and thus my conclusion is, they left. Yea. That's it for now.

I love when that happens! Like, when you see references to anime in real life. Um, once I was talking about being a marshmellow (Don't ask about the weirdness.) and this person was like, "Mello!" And I was totally happy for the rest of the day.

lmfao! One time, my teacher gave us all a black sketchbook and a piece of white chalk and she said we could write anything on the cover. I wrote 'Death Note' on the cover and I kept threatening to write my friends names in it.

I've got a really good one! ^^
So there's this podium in my psychology class. A lot of people sign the podium so they'll be remembered. For example, they'll put "Melissa 07-08". What's truly comedic is that in big red letters, outlined in black, the name, "KIRA" is written.
Me and the friends who actually watch the anime keep threatening to write each other's names on the podium. It's at the front of the class too, which is too funny. While I'm not certain whether someone purposely made the reference, it just seems too suspicious not to be true.

Haha, I should totally do that in my French class cuz the teacher has a podium that everyone signs. And considering that all my Death Note friends come in the room with me when we eat lunch, I'll bring it up and see what they think! Thanks for that post, it's great!

xD I love it when I'm in the mall and I see someone with anime keychains. One time I saw this girl with a Sesshomaru [[From Inuyasha]] keychain.. And one with a Kakashi one. I'm waiting for someone with an L keychain. I SWEAR I will follow them home.

Of course since it was my math project I had to make up a word problem that involves proportion so I wrote this as my problem "An amime show called Death Note has a character named Kira that kills criminals by writing their name in the Death Note while having the person's image in their mind. If Kira kills 14 people/criminals a week then how many people/criminals would Kira kill in half a year if Kira continues at this rate?(Round to nearest number if needed)" Maybe you can solve it since it's not hard and there is 2 ways to solve it. Anyway i put a whole bunch of Japanese names in my Death Note many are repeated. It's so awesome!! I showed it to all of my friends that watch Death Note and they thought it was awesome too and plus i wrote my sister's name in it!!! lol

I had one of those moments in my ceramics class. I was getting this guys screen name, and the word "Mello" was in it, spelled exactly like that. I just stared at him and he asked what my problem was. Turns out he didn't even know it was a DN reference!

I had another! I was in my World History class and my teacher is head of Prom Committee, so she was busy decorating and planning things Friday. We (obviously) had a sub, and his name is Mr. Lofting. And now, I quote him. "If you don't remember my name, you can just call me Mr. L." I cracked up at that, even though I was only half listening. People just thought I was crazy cuz they didn't get it.

THe one about Mr. L, I had a similar case. My BIO teacher and my barkada (group of friends) were talking about anime. THen guess what came up, Death Note, duh! blaugh Anyway, so we were talking about it when she said, "You know what they call Sir Lighthrone (lie-throne)?" "What?" "Sir L." Then my friend was like cracking up and we thought she was insane for laughing out like that. sweatdrop Anyway, it was so ironic right? Freaky was the irst thing that entered my head. Anyway... rofl DEATH NOTE ROCKS!!! rofl
