Ah, you saw that too? I almost bought one in the marketplace just because one of its poses was a V-like mask...but that barf thing gives me the heebie-jeebies. sad

Well this is quite late, but the reason has more to do with Guy Fawkes than V I think. It's from a meme known as "Epic Fail Guy" which I think comes from Guy Fawkes failing and getting hanged. But to be honest that's conjecture.
