Seeing as this doesn't really have anything to do with Sesshoumaru, I'm putting this up in the chatterbox subforum.
Anyway, if anyone has seen the fourth movie (and I think "The Woman who loved Sesshoumaru") they'd get a lovely insight of Jaken's singing talent. Considering that most of the Inuyasha fans I met so far are rather intolerant of traditional Asian singing and "classic," I'm beginning to wonder: am I the only one who actually enjoyed listening to Sesshoumaru's little retainer sing?
...
Also, I finally managed to catch Narita (Sesshouamaru's seiyuu) singing a song titled "Gou," and I've got to say, he's not all that bad. His voice kinda reminds me of a toned-down version of Buck-Tick. I wished Nagashima (Jaken) and Noto (Rin) got to sing independently, though. It was a bit awkward though, because I keep picturing Sesshoumaru saying: "I, Sesshoumaru, do not sing." XD
Kappei and Satsuki (in the background) were amusing as too... more like Kappei made me smirk because I could picture Inuyasha singing karaoke and doing the air guitar during the short musical interlude. XP By the way, after listening to Satsuki sing solo, I think she has the best voice from what I've heard so far.
Finally, Kouji (Miroku) was rather amusing with the whole techno thing going on. The mental image of Miroku jumping up and down in his monk robes using his Shakujou as a makeshift microphone with Watanabe (Shippou) and Kuwashima (Sango) acting as background dancers providing their very short roles is just mind-blowing. >w<
I want to buy those character CDs now... think I might go off to Amazon and run a search. ^_^
