What do you think of the anime in general? (Please only answer if you have only seen the Adult Swim dub, that way you won't spoil anything...)
Personally, I thought it was EPIC. Lelouch is a really well-delveloped character, you can tell in the first 10 minutes that he has many different layers to his character. The Knightmare Frames are cool, not as good as Gundams or LFO's, maybe, but their inability to fly is negligible. And how about the geass? It was the awesomest scene ever, the soldiers are all like "Happily, your Highness! Fire!" and blow their own heads off with their sidearms. Question is, does Lelouch need to maintain eye contact in order to keep the geass working, or does it work as long as desired after the person is first enthralled? And who exactly is CC, and what is she doing in the captivity of the Britannians? So many mysteries... but still, an awesome show. Lelouch has a bit of a superiority complex, though, treating battles like chess... kind of like Light Yagami and L, except that Lelouch is a good guy... or is he?
... Commetns anybody?

Nah, I don't think it was epic. "Happily your highness" doesn't really appeal to me that much, then again, Clovis's voice was kickas <3

ZUH!? How could anybody go that crazy over anyone? It's illogical. Also, I can't help but wonder if Suzaku is gonna play some big part in the outcome of the series.

lovely_velvet_rose I've only seen the dub.right now its a little hard to tell if lelouch is good or bad. sweatdrop He can be compared to Light from death note depending on your views he can be both, his tactics like Light's can be showed "bad" by the masses but as always the minority that follows it say its "good". I personally don't like the words bad, evil and good when it comes to judging character and actions it can be interpreted in different ways.

This anime is my favourite! Yes, Lelouch is awesome, mysterious, and even dark in a sort of way. He's not an EVIL murderer like Light... Lelouch is just the type to do whatever it takes to get something done. All the mysteries, tactics, drama, and action is exactly why no one should miss out on this. rofl

I agree. Code Geass is definately an epic. Lelouch's personality let's people know that he is a unique, natural-born leader. The Knightmare Frames are awesome (I like Suzu-chan's) and are very well animated. Lelouch's concept of treating war like chess is just his style. Someone good at chess should be able to relate it to something. And it IS kind of like Light Yagami... Weird...
