Hey. I know I'm not a member of the guild but i just have a question. Is anime really so bad? I'm a MAJOR anime fan and i don't think so. My mom often makes wrong assumptions about anime a watch and is always saying its something it really isn't. And with some anime that are magicy or spooky that i watch, like jigoku shoujo, naruto, or mermaid melody, i don't practice anything they do, don't pretend to have their powers or anything like that! I accept the anime for what i think it is: an entertaining fiction japenese animation show!
And then she has to say anything with japenese culture or music i listen to(i listen to alot) might be "chanting to the devil". WHY does she think that? the only time that happened was with the ENGLISH pokemon theme song! like its ok 4 me to listen to songs with drugs,sex,and violence aslong as i know what there saying?i personally don't like 65% of all rap songs but my younger bro listens to that stuff telling him that its great being a gangsta,on the streets and its ok?or because there from america? she accused the song called " Honey Punch" From Riku something! its just insane to me. Listen to the song and you'd know what i mean
I just wanted to know some other people's opinions.

i dont think there is anything wrong with anime. if there is then i dont see it. i have watched a few but think thayt as long as you dont believe and worship them that they are fine.i watch some that i know probly are not the best like elfen lied and inuasha but they are entertaining.

Anime is a good source of entertainment (Naruto episode 101, Naruto episode 13 cool , but it can also cause you to let down your guard little by little. I used to struggle with pornography, and, thankfully, I wasn't reading Inuyasha at the time. I know Inu-Yasha had some "sexy" pictures, but I stopped reading them when my library didn't have the rest of the series (This might seem a little unrelated, but one of my friends says that anime is "badly-drawn porn". Just thought I'd throw it in for laughs).
Most of the theme songs I've heard have good messages in them, and occasionally I use them for inspiration.
As sort of a closing note, try not to read or watch too many episodes at a time. Doing so may cause an addiction to what happens next, then things start to get a little more crazy.
