This was getting to be a habit... coming to FTAA headquarters. This time the gunblader felt a little more comfortable as he made long strides to the front door. Hyperion rested casually on his shoulder. It made Seifer more at ease, just having the familiar weight there. He knew he would not need it... but Hyne he felt almost naked without it.

What was perhaps more odd to an observer was the gray cat that clung almost to easily to the heavy white fabric on Seifer's left shoulder opposite Hyperion. The hunter cat did not say anything though his blue eyes were unusually bright with curiosity. Perun was listening to the anthro speak -a rather one sided conversation the four legged hunter could not join, being what he was. Not that he would want to be a familiar just to be able to talk to others. No way! Perun was a hunter and proud of it!

But the matter of this request had them both baffled. It was of that they held their 'conversation' if it could even be called such. Seifer did try to listen for the hunter-father's meows. Even if he could not understand the words intended, Seifer could figure most of it out pretty well.

It did not help either become any less confused. Only more.

[He's here.] The gray & blue cat meowed as he spotted Ramses' visage in the window, even knowing that Seifer could not understand him. It had the desired effect however as the anthro turned and offered a nod to the desert feline before putting his hand to the door and stepping inside. At least the familiar could actually speak. "Almost surprised there wasn't a royal seal on the summons." Seifer's teasing smirk belayed the flicker of curiosity & worry in his blue eyes as he grabbed a chair & swung it around to the window where the desert cat sat. With heavy, purposeful motions he straddled the chair, leaning Hyperion beside the length of the backrest then folding his arms over top. His eyes did not leave the regal cat but watched with his own brand of Seifer intensity. Perun remained on the white shoulder, sitting down & also watching the familiar but thoughtful in his own way. [Hello Ramses. What's up?] It must be something to ask to meet here rather than either of their homes. Sure... it was still more than awkward for Seifer to visit Moochi's, but no reason Ramses should feel he could not come over to Trel's. Not that it mattered much to Perun, who lived where he would.

"Surprised you'd want to see us." 'Us' in this case meaning more 'him' as the gunblader watched Ramses. "What's the problem."

The two hunters blinked but otherwise did not flinch as the magical lightning struck. Seifer huffed. "Well that's damn useful." Indeed. Not even the Al Bhed's translators translated for the fourlegged cats even though the feather tailed ones were MUCH more intelligent than the two housecats. Perun was nodding, ears having gone back for a moment now back to normal. "When wanting to be understood." Deep blue eyes sparkled with inner mischief feeling the anthro barely tense beneath his paws at the sound of his 'voice' not sounding like a meow. Chuckling Perun walked across the gunblader's shoulders earning himself a glare which was pointedly ignored. "So what needs to be said?"

"Yeah, that needs me to be able to understand him." Seifer scowled at the cat on his shoulder though it was missing his former enmity.

"You wanna what?" Perun lost his footing and nearly slid down the trenchcoat as in his surprise he somehow sheathed his claws. He fumbled for brief seconds only to be retained by a steadying hand of Seifer's. The anthro looked to be just as surprised as the other, and truthfully Seifer was hell'a glad he was sitting down. This was not what he had expected at all.

Then, slowly, the anthro started to smile. It was odd: still a smirk & yet... soft. This cat... he had observed how he -Seifer- was with Rune and said that he saw he made her happy. huh. That was pretty damn awesome. Sure... Seifer liked to think he made her happy, and most of the time he hoped he did... but it was something else to hear someone else say they saw it.

Especially someone like Ramses.

But... damn... advice? The hell...

And he wanted to court the ice queen? s**t... was Ramses actually blushing? On his shoulder Perun had yet to come around from his shock, the hunter wondering if this was what Azure was alluding too last time the desert cat stopped by. Ramses never did come inside... only went to Dea...

Wide bright blue eyes stared at the regally posed male. "First... why?" More calmly Seifer nodded his interest in the answer to that question too. Something to ground this somehow. Not to mention give him some time to think. How the hell was he supposed to answer this? At least Ramses was not asking how to court. Seifer'd have no idea what to tell him then. If Rune had not loved him... he would have probably botched what constituted as their courtship.

Regaining his footing for himself Perun sat down. "oh." He had to think about this. A side of Dea... how the show had been acting -was still acting- since ... well Perun was sure Ramses had been there that day. His eyes nodded for him, then glanced at the anthro. Seifer was looking incredibly thoughtful. He had heard what was not said. Love. He had also seen what might be a blush, perhaps indicating that the desert cat might actually love Dea. It was not an impossible probability. One not thought to ever happen... but not impossible. Hell... Rune loved him.

"So you want to court her, to be your mate, to make her happy. humph. This is different from how you make her happy now...." One one hand Seifer was trying to get a better understanding so he could better help. On the other... he was teasing. Just a little. He could not help it -it was in his nature.

Perun made a face trying not to chuckle. This was serious! As he pulled himself together deep blue eyes looked steadily at Ramses. "He has a point. Dea never showed anything resembling happiness before you visited her in that flower home of hers. Mates are different though. Each female is different: what will make her happy, what she wants. They make us want things we never wanted or thought to want, and maybe we do to them too." He glanced to the anthro for help now and felt Seifer's sigh. The gunblader's eyes had not left Ramses though he did not miss Perun's look.

"You want our help wooing or happiness after or both or what?" Spell it out, Seifer's eyes seemed to flash. He never was one for mincing words.

Two different shades of blue eyes glanced at each other. Not quite blank, not quite... something like being cornered. Definitely seeing who would have to speak first. Seifer's glare won, the quadruped shrugging and giving a nonchalant grin as he gave in.

"None of our situations are exactly the same." Deep blue eyes twinkled as Perun laughed. "You're actively interested. I was smitten but didn't think I was & didn't think really beyond being with Azure until it happened: I just blurted it out." The hunter laughed. That was a very good day. He had not regretted it since. Perun tilted his head at the antho's with a grin. "Rune had to start his courting.

You'd think Rune likes to be man-handled." Perun's eyes glimmered as he teased his 'perch' -which gave a huff and another glare in response. Just before relaxing into something like a smile. It was certainly more than a smirk though it was very close. "Does, doesn't she? I'd never hurt her & she knows it & if you've seen her eyes... how she gets breathless when I'm forceful & pull her close..." His eyes were closing, imagining it as he spoke and a low growl vibrated through Seifer that was not a bit angry. Hungry maybe but not angry. "You gotta learn how to read'em though -try to see what they like and when they've had enough. Girls don't always know themselves to tell you, and even if they do often won't."

Seifer gave a huff. "Of course not. She wouldn't like it either. Thing is if she's so 'important' to you & you want her for your mate you're gonna have to let her know." The gunblader sighed. He was not one for heart to heart talks with anyone and this was really pushing it. Hell! The talk with Naruto was in a way easier! At least it was stuff he had been thinking about!

Catching the glance for assistance Perun picked up. "We can give you general guidelines, Ramses. We've both known our share of females before settling with our mates." Seifer grumbled and looked away as the cat continued to talk from his shoulder. That was now something of a sadness or anger for him. How he had wasted his time with other girls in Garden and elsewhere without really caring for them at all. Only one he had cared at all for was the one who ended up with Puberty Boy. eh... Squall. "Dea may have to hear how you feel, or she may be satisfied with displays and shows that 'say' the same thing to her. often... it's good for both eventually. Even if they don't need it, they always seem to like it. Being told & being shown that is."

"You'll want to test the water. 'specially with the ice queen. See if she's even interested. Nothin' else... going slow will keep you from scaring the hell out of her." At the gunblader's interjection Perun nodded then grinned. "Can't imagine Dea taking a blurt of love anything like my Azure did. Different as night and day." He chuckled & rolling his eyes Seifer took over for him. "You're responsible for melting that cold ... exterior of hers. You already know how to talk with her and how to be around her. Do you want us to give you rules? Girls have no rules. None that can be followed like an instruction book. We can't tell you what to say to her when the only reason she's civil to us is probably from whatever you did to her." Seifer was showing irritation but it was from his own lack of control on the situation & conversation. He was out of his element & he knew it. Not a good feeling. heh. Who would have thought it? Seifer Almasy: relationship adviser.

"You're welcome." Perun said with a perplexed smile before head-butting the side of Seifer's face. "huff. welcome." Gruffed the anthro, still feeling ill at ease and out of his element.

They watched the desert cat go and Seifer shrugged, slowly standing and stretching. It was quite something to see the agile hunter manage NOT to fall in the process. A shame really no one likely saw it. "Odd."

Perun laughed and nodded. [Different certainly.] The four legged hunter meowed. Seifer frowned then laughed. "Took the magic without a word on it. Think they deserve each other?"

Blonde head tilted, his red dagger marked ears flicking as the gunblader actually watched his temporary companion go through a series of very thoughtful expressions before nodding. This brought an amused snort from Seifer.

"Right, then." With that, they too left.
