I tend to like the introduction threads when it comes to forums, so I'm starting one here. Makes a more homey atmosphere. I also love to brag in a nice way.

I'm a So Californian attending a community college, planning to transfer-graphic design, marketing, business management. And HOPEFULLY English if I have the time - I love it!

I'm into all that old skool post punk, like The Cure, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Depeche Mode. Along with the geeky new wave. I collect unique office supplies, and try to be a decent president for a school club I started to support the arts. I love hangin' out in the Mojave desert, and going to bizarre restaurants and bars in the middle of no where.

I started reading Rand when I was a sophomore in high school, mainly because I needed a massive amount of reading points for my English class and The Fountainhead was the thickest book I could find in the fiction section. I loved the book and even went on to read Atlas Shrugged and Anthem. I enjoy Rand's outlooks on success, quality, character, etc. I wish this world was like her books, where the honest and dedicated really did win and create a utopian society. It would be nice.

I'm Agoofin - as in goofing around smile

One thing about me is that I was not exposed to a lot of things, like Ayn Rand, in my schooling. This for a person with a college degree. When my daughter went to a real college, my eyes were opened.

Who is John Galt indeed? Atlas Shrugged seemed so.... real. I could tell at once that there were many sides to this story and why it was so important.

Heh, it used to be one thing to say how Atlas Shrugged could seem real, but these days its taken on a whole additional truth to that statement.

Indeed, there are times when you see things in life that almost seem from the book.

All the debates going on seem like games of ping-pong, boring and predictable.

And isn't is a bit sad and creepy how relatively few people do notice this as disturbingly surreal, like fiction, and that to them this really does just seem like how life naturally would be? How many people have accepted this as just "that's the way things go" is one of the worst signs. Points to all the people working on changing this view in people though.

Hello, I am M. In reality, if you define it by biological implusles interpreted by the brain, I am male and female. When speaking of Gender I am a boy(despite my avatar being a girl). Ima writer and objective religious researcher. By objective I mean that I do it for my own pleasure, not for any purpose of gain. At any rate Im almost finsihed reading Atlas, I read Anthem first before it. Next I am going to read Fountainhead.

I am currently writing a book and I must admit that I am excited that I have purposeful, understanding readers who might be able to critic my ideas or otherwise generally help in my stories evolution.
