Star Wars : To Walk Along the Starlit Path
A Star Wars Roleplay Thousands of years have passed since the reformation of the Jedi Order. New technology has allowed hyperspace routes to be forged between galaxies and as a result the "Galactic" Republic is exploding in growth and beginning exploration into other galaxies. The Republic has reached a new peak in prosperity, but all is not well. The Sith and Jedi are once again at war. No longer is the rule of two enforced and now hundreds of Sith are locked in combat with hundreds of Jedi. No longer are the Sith confined to the shadows. They are now permitted and protected by law to practice their faith as much as the Jedi, and along with the Jedi possess representatives in the Senate. The Senate has become nothing more but an illusion of authority. In truth it is just the Sith and Jedi who control the senate, pulling strings in the force to prevent the other from gaining complete control. Though the army of the republic remains inactive both the Jedi and Sith orders have begun to manufacture fleets of starships and fighters regularly engage each other in combat. Both sides scramble to recruit as many force sensitives as possible regardless of values. The Jedi are facing an issue of corruption as many of the newer Jedi aren't very prone to follow the code, many Jedi who should be novices for their immaturity and lack of discipline are quickly made Masters. Many of the higher ups are too desperate to fight off the Sith to be picky with who they choose to recruit and promote to Jedi Master, but a small group of purists are slowly emerging from within the Order. The Sith too still maintain their cruelty and arrogance, and their academies ensure that their values are passed on, but compared to some of the earlier Sith, they have taken on a much more moderate stance. With intergalactic hyperspace routes opened there is suddenly a surplus of resources available. Both the Jedi and Sith are struggling to establish themselves and explore these galaxies for raw materials needed for their individual fleets. Another incentive are the native populations of some of these galaxies. Though most have never come into contact with midi-chlorians, and thus have no ability over the force. Though the Jedi and Sith have not discovered, it is possible that if midichlorians are introduced to someone's bloodstream that has never had them introduced, it almost always results in the midi-chlorians reproducing at an astonishing rate resulting in an incredibly high midi-chlorian count. This does not happen instantly though. It can takes weeks or months for the person to reach their full potential, but result can be seen in only a few days and sometimes even hours. These individuals are extremely powerful in the force, though unfortunately they do not possess the kind of control that Jedi and Sith Masters do. However, because of this amount of power they are almost a match for even the most well trained Jedi, and can easily overpower a novice. When the Jedi and Sith discover this resource, it can lead to an extremely destructive outcome. With all the resources available war is inevitable. With both sides matched in power it is sure to be drawn out over the course of many years and possesses a greater destructive potential than the galaxies involved have ever known and could very well lead to the universe itself being ripped apart.

Character Profiles ((http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?t=12680117 this is the link to where you need to actually post your profile)) Before joining please send me a pm so that we can RP together so I know if I want you or not. Please, no hard feelings if I pick you, I'm just trying to maintain a standard. If I've RPed with you in the past though, I'm probably fine with you RPing here. Earth is open for people to come from but you have to explain how that person got of the world (Jedi and Sith haven't made contact, but my characters Dan and Josh come from Earth, but it was because a Sith and Jedi ship crashed near them and their blood mixed with the Jedi and Sith blood and afterwards they took their ship and left Earth. If you're going to be from Earth then you need to create your own plotlines as to how your characters leave it. It is present day on earth. People on Earth are aware of Star Wars. I don't really intend to explain it but its hinted that through some collective subconcious memory it emerged into George Lucas's imagination and was recreated as entertainment. No, George Lucas is not a Jedi XD. I was going to have my characters not know anything about Star Wars but it caused so many road blocks in terms of why they would leave and how they would respond to what was happening around them. Its possible that Star Wars characters or mythology has reappeared in other cultures as well, so you guys can feel free to do a similar thing on different custom planets. For those that don't know a consular is a Jedi/Sith who focuses on force powers and not lightsaber combat, they're usually the diplomats. A Sentinel kinda combines lightsaber and force powers but also possesses an abundance of other skills such as repair, computer, building and many other abilities. They're more like the scouts, very flexible but not extremely good at anything. Then the guardian pretty much focuses on lightsaber combat. Traditionally consulars have green lightsabers, sentinels have yellow, and guardians have blue. You aren't bound to this though. All colors are up for grabs, just try not to make something ridiculous like a "black" lightsaber or a "rainbow-colored" lightsaber. As far as customization goes on lightsabers feel free to do whatever you want. If you have a super huge one (like one that would make Cloud's jaw drop) keep in mind the limitations you'll have. You can't use that lightsaber inside a starship or you'll kill everyone inside. Please keep it down to one or two lightsabers. People who have been introduced to midi-chlorians are more prone to mastering techniques that the blood donor already uses and is adept in. They may also take on certain character traits of this person. To what extent this goes is up to you. Please try not to start off with a Master or something crazy like a Sith Lord. Yes, those positions are open, but we don't want this to just be a bunch of Masters and Lords fighting each other. A good rule is for every Jedi Master/Sith Lord you also play one or two novices. Template Player:Name: Gender: Species:Age:Class: Force user (consular, sentinel, guardian, Sith Lord etc.), assassin, smuggler, etc. Intentions: Good, Evil, Neutral, Well-done, Medium Rare, Blackened... Allies: Sith, Jedi, or Neutral (or some other third party) Physical Description: Clothing:Weapon:Personality: Hobbies: Abilities: Special Markings: Homeworld: (include a description here if it isn't Earth) History: Player: Kyou Nitsune Name: Dan Age: 17 Gender: Male Species: Human Class: Force User (Consular) Intentions: Good Alliance: Neutral (for now) Physical Description: Dan has a scruffy mop of dark brown hair on his head that he usually leaves exactly the same from when he wakes up in the morning. He has a small amount of muscle and slightly defined pecs and abs but he doesn’t exercise much except for when he’s hiking or building something. He has a bit of scruff on his chin but for the most part lacks a beard, though he shaves occasionally. Clothing: (at the moment) Black turtleneck and jeans. The aim of the turtleneck, despite it being summer, was to cover the scars that occurred from flying debris from the Sith ship. Dan doesn’t pay much attention to his clothing, but when he finally is introduced to traditional Jedi robes he really likes the feel of them and wears them constantly. Weapon: None at the moment. Eventually a lightsaber with a purple crystal. Personality: Dan has always been a daydreamer, and every time he comes to the realization that he can’t escape reality it is an extremely painful one. He loves nature, and feels rather indifferent towards places in which there are tons of machines. He’s an old fashioned romantic in the literary sense, but as far as actual romance goes he doesn’t seem so interested. He doesn’t really get tied up in the gossip and whatnot of highschool, and though he has several friends he’s not very social. He drifts between extremely polar groups because he likes the variety in personalities but largely avoids the “jock/prep/popular” clichés. He tries to be as open minded as possible, and doesn’t look at things in terms of black and white. No matter how much society may frown upon something he always tries to see things from the other perspective and analyze things from a whole. Hobbies: Reading and writing poetry and prose. He loves to read stuff and then analyze it in class and absolutely adores debate. He also spends a lot of time outside, usually hiking or daydreaming in a field near his neighborhood. He especially likes to sneak out into the woods at night. One of the other things he loves to do outside is build shelters, which he’s done since he was a little kid and never grew out of. Because of all the heavy lifting of logs and fallen tree trunks he’s managed to build a little muscle. Abilites: Most of Dan’s abilities lie in his use of the Force. These usually manifest in solely offensive or defensive ways. Because his midi-chlorians were received from a Sith, he is more adept than usual at using dark side force powers, especially powers like force lightning or force scream. He has more trouble manifesting force powers that involve support. While he’s fairly good at force jump he has a lot of trouble with force speed and any kind of buffer or healing powers are out of the question. Special Markings: None Homeworld: Earth History: A daydreaming high school student, Dan has always longed to escape the reality of everyday life. One night while stargazing though his wish is granted as a comet plummets towards earth. In actuality it is the downed ship of a Sith knight. It crashes only a few dozen feet away and the shrapnel rips open Dan’s arms. Realizing that this is a crashed alien ship he runs to help the survivor, pulling him from the wreckage. He rips up his shirt attempting to bind the man’s wounds as he’s bleeding profusely. But while he’s trying to bind the man’s wounds he noticed the lightsaber on his belt. The dark Jedi awakens and nearly kills him, but instead departs in his ship to find the downed Jedi starfighter. The next day Dan starts to notice that something has changed. Player: Sousei Tatsu Name: Larz Gender: Male Species: ChissAge: 27 Class: Sith Lord Intentions: Personal Allies: N/A, though the Sith see him as one. Physical Description: Larz' physical appearence doesn't seem too out of the ordinary, outside of his Chiss features. His hair is unkempt and a deep black, often described as characteristic of his own behavior. Larz stands at 5'10 and weighs 180 lbs. Clothing: Larz wears a pair of samurai-esque black pants in addition to a form-fitting, sleeves black shirt. However, he normally wears a black coat that seems to blend in with his style of pants, allowing him the look of a Sith Lord yet not completely restraining his movement like most robes do. Weapon: Larz wields a pair of Lightsabers, neither of which he made himself. His first saber, a blue one, was stolen by the first Jedi he'd ever fought and killed. The second one, a dark crimson, was stolen from his own master, whom he killed once he was sure the man could teach him nothing more. Personality: Larz is generally all around psychotic. He is extremely bipolar in addition to just being insane. Because of this, his personality sways back and forth and will change direction without warning. Unpredictable would be the best way to describe him, and extreme caution is what is suggested to approach him with. Hobbies: Larz plays Pazaak and collects children's toys. Abilities: While not proficient in the mind techniques of the force, or even force moves such as lightning, Larz is known far and wide as the "Sith Lord of Flight", having spent all of his Force training on perfecting his jumping skills. As such, he is capable of jumping such distances and at heights once thought unattainable. He is also extremely proficient in the acrobatic style, Ataru, which makes him unsettlingly deadly when combined with his jumping prowess and dual Lightsabers. Special Markings: Larz has a large X-shaped scar on his back. The first cut came from the first Jedi he killed, and the second from his master. He now wields both weapons that scarred him. Homeworld: N/A (Born and raised in a ship) History: A stated above, Larz was born and raised in a ship by who would later become his master as an experiment wrought from madness. the result was a socially and mentally unstable child with a passion for childish antics and jumping from one emotion to another. This made him an interesting candidate for a Sith, and he began his Sith training at the age of 16 in a secluded area of Tatooine. His training consisted of awakening to attempts on his master's behalf to kill the boy, and spent the entire day simply trying to survive. Because of the many rocky cliffs in the area, this was the training that resulted in his unsurpassed jumping skills. Some time after this, a nearby Jedi Master learned of the training and went to investigate with his padawan. The master was killed by Larz' master, while Larz, unarmed, fought the padawan, who already had a lightsaber. Larz sustained a cut across his back just before crashing down atop the padawan with a rock, smashing the Jedi's skull open and killing him. Larz took the lightsaber for himself afterwards. A few years afterwards, Larz had found himself no longer running from his master to survive, but fighting him all day long every day until one day, Larz cut the hands from his master's arms. The young Sith realized his training was over, and killed his master, taking the lightsaber upon his defeat. Over the course of his training, his master had completed the X scar on Larz' back. Because of this scar and Larz' random impulses to do whatever he feels like, he is often called the "X Factor" by other Sith, stating that he is not something to count on, but is something to actually prepare against. Events in which Larz actually assists his fellow Sith are simply "icing on the cake". Despite this, however, Larz has still managed to secure a position as one of the more feared Sith, but not for his power- for his unpredictability. When speaking with the Sith Lord, one can never tell if he's going to remain friendly, or wig out and attack you.

“We’ve found him,” the Jedi said to his padawan. The dark ship zipped out of the shadow of the Moon and darted towards them. It was like a raven gone mad. Its wings were shaped in a kind of sickle so that it almost seemed as if they were made for the purpose of slicing open other craft.
Its dark color made it nearly impossible to identify it in the darkness of space so they would have to rely on sensors and the help of the astromech droid that whirred in warning just outside the cockpit.
Or rather he found us. The padawan thought to himself, manning the rear guns of the fighter. If he was really hiding, he wouldn’t have come at us now. This is an ambush. But he dare not speak his true mind to his master, who would see it as disrespectful. But now he was wondering if it would have been better to urge his master to wait. The Sith are not to be taken lightly, afterall.
His master suddenly barrel rolled out of the way as several laser blasts.
The padawan kept himself calm as his vision blurred before focusing on the Sith fighter which had somehow made an incredibly sharp u-turn and was now close on their tail. He let loose a volley of laser fire from the rear guns, following the Ship and focusing more on preventing it from getting a shot rather than destroying it. It had seemed like the ship was beginning to pull away from their rear when suddenly it swooped back in at a lightning pace and fired its own volley of laser fire.
“Watch it boy!” His master yelled, “I should have gone alone, I would have shot him down by now.”
The padawan took a moment to center himself, wondering how such an arrogant man could be accepted into the Jedi Order. His stomach lurched slightly as they made their own u-turn. The shields were shot, but had absorbed most of the laser fire, the astrodroid’s head was spinning around and sparks were flying out of its dome with the exertion of maintaining the ship.
Both fighters were moving in a tight loop now, the Jedi fighter behind the Sith. “Break the loop master, I’ll get him as he flies over us.” There were a few seconds of silence before his master seemed to decide this was a worthy strategy and he felt the g-forces let up as they broke their continuous loop and continued on straight. As expected though their target remained moving in the circular motion, and as he passed overhead the padawan fired several shots, each making contact with the Sith starfighter.
“I’m going at it head-on,” his master said, making another u-turn so that now both ships were once again headed straight towards each other. But the distance between them was much greater now than before. It was a complete suicide run. Both fighters fired their lasers at each other, and both hit their marks before the padawan even had the chance to convince his master not to go through with it.
Both ships had caught fire, their engines were quickly failing and they were losing momentum. The sight of the white crater-filled moon loomed in front of the Jedi padawan as both ships began to plummet towards the blue-green planet below, ignorant to the battle overhead. But as they fell, the Sith ship was still behind them. It fired several more times before they plummeted in different directions, shaking violently as they entered Earth’s atmosphere.

[Dan.:Earth:.Field]
Dan was lying again beneath the stars, entertaining some kind of romantic idea that floated about in his mind. Beneath the night sky, silently lying on a hillside inspiration came to him like spring to flowers. Often times he would lie here, reveling in the wonderful feeling of lying in the dark in secret, concocting fantastic stories in his mind that excited him more than anything else in his dreary, normal life. He hated it.
Despite the wonderful adventures he would imagine, and how they made his heart beat faster and a smile explode off his face, he couldn’t stand the sensation. Every other night he would come here and imagine, but it only made his longing to live in such worlds worse. It was like a perverted paraplegic man staring at the most beautiful, voluptuous woman he had ever seen. It ultimately just made his longing worse, and the harsh reality that such things would never come true made him almost suicidal.
But despite the agony that always followed, he could not deny himself the joy of creating such scenarios in his mind, or reading about them in a book, or playing them in a game, or watching them in a movie. No matter how much he tried to resist, he always found himself flipping another page, watching another cut-scene, pushing in another DVD, or laying still beneath the stars in this very same field. Just like tonight.
He had so deeply wished for escape from reality - to break the laws of the natural world – ever since he was a kid. He had sat on the river-stone path near his house, sitting in the meditative state he had read about, and tried to move the tiny stones with his mind. He had, as many teenagers of his generation, waited eagerly for his acceptance letter to Hogwarts and was just a little more crushed than the other children when it eventually didn’t come, convincing himself it was lost in the mail, that America’s wizarding school didn’t accept students till much later, or some other excuse. In elementary school he had desperately searched for a poke-mon hiding in his back yard. But as he grew older and older, a bitter sadness stained his soul as he began to accept that nothing extraordinary was ever going to happen.
He closed his eyes, weaving his fingers through the grass as he stretched out his arms and legs. He grasped the clumps in his hands like a lover would their partner’s hair during flights of passion, and let go with a sigh. He loved nature, and found that when he took a hike along the familiar paths of Kennesaw Mountain or snuck out to lay in the fields it restored his soul somewhat. Nature, like the literature classes he loved so much, was much like Dan’s church.
He sometimes imagined how wonderful it would have been to be a Native American. Before the whites came of course, he wasn’t stupid. How fantastic it would be to run along the same mountain paths, living a simple life uncomplicated by cell phones and cars and technology? No, it wouldn’t be a picnic hunting your own food and avoiding other aggressive tribes, but the thought of running through the forests, unscarred by streets or buildings, caused every ounce of stress to leave his body. In those times, fantasy was still possible. Myth was alive around them, because the world itself was unknown. Now all the dark secrets of the world were exposed by monotonously buzzing fluorescent lights.
He stared longingly at the sky, deeply desiring to escape this rock and travel across the universe to some other unknown place. He wanted to visit all the planet that hung in the sky, to walk the starlit path above him. He wanted to run through virgin fields and virgin forests, to forge his own path through unexplored wilderness. Though surprisingly he didn’t believe in god, he would find himself guiltily begging that some power would intervene and send him something extraordinary.
Something flickered amongst the stars. It was like a star had emerged from behind the moon, drifting across the night sky, steadily growing. It suddenly broke into two parts, one zooming ahead of the other. He suddenly realized he could hear it falling, like the sound of all the planes that came in and out of the nearby airforce base, blazing thunder across the sky. The star seemed to be on fire, and as it neared closer he realized it wasn’t a star at all.
He thought he had lost it. He wondered if all that longing to escape reality had only driven him insane, making his imagination come to life in vivid hallucinations. It was a ship. A space ship.
It tried to even out and soften the landing, but it was badly damaged and zoomed off into the distance, crashing into some nearby woods with less noise than he would have thought. He thought he could hear a tree snapping in the distance.
Then suddenly he remembered the second half, and looked up just as the second ship - harder to see because it was black – came barreling towards him. He began to run, realizing that it was going to crash near him, but he had taken too much time. It slammed into the ground nearby. Bits of the metal hull and broken glass exploded out at him as he raised his arms in front of him in defense, the materials cutting deep into his soft arms but not causing any serious damage. As he lowered his arms, which by now were beginning to bleed more than he had ever bled anywhere else, he realized the pilot had been ejected from the cockpit by the crash and was lying several feet from the crashed ship.
Forgetting for the moment the impossibility of the situation he ran forward, all the while thinking it was impossible for anyone to have survived that kind of crash. Strangely enough though the man’s body didn’t seem mangled, though like his ship his dark clothing made it difficult to really make out his figure in the darkness. He ran up to the motionless figure, shouting “are you alright?!”
He crouched down, pressing his fingers clumsily on the man’s neck to try and find a pulse. Somehow he was alive. He noticed the skin on the man’s face was strangely cracked with black lines running along it like veins. He didn’t think it was the result of the fire, and in fact couldn’t see any real damage the man had sustained other than a few cuts from flying through the windshield. He took off his shirt and began ripping it up to use it as a substitute for bandages, placing his hands on the man’s worst cuts to stem the bleeding. Between the both of them things got so messy he couldn’t tell whose blood was whose. “I hope you don’t have HIV,” he said to himself, giving him another shake to wake him up.
The man wasn’t responding, and he was about to leave to call the police before noticing a strange cylindrical piece of equipment laying only a few feet next to the motionless pilot. Is that a lightsaber? It suddenly darted towards him, and he leapt away as it flew past him to the now standing pilot, who ignited it so the glowing red-orange blade was inches from his throat. There was a moment’s pause where Dan’s heart pumped faster than it ever had before, when without warning the Dark Jedi scoffed, turned off his saber, and force pushed him down to the ground. His head hit a rock, and the pain caused him to lose focus and snap his eyes shut. As he opened them again, the ship had lifted back into the air, hovered for a moment above him like some dark angel, and shot off into the night.

[Nied- star port] Nied's ship Babylon sat in the star port it's cargo hold full of "Ore" and waited for it's captain to leave. The night was dark and nothing stirred. Suddenly thesound of footsteps and Nied entered the port. He entered his ship, what was at one point a corvet but now had more weapons and many secret smuggling compartments. Nied opened the Door holding his finger over the hidden DNA scanner, without which the ship would self destruct. Nied sat in the pilots seat and Fired up the thrusters and drifted away from the planet, a dead Sith was left behind. Once out of the gravitational pull of the planet Nied engaged the warp drive to Couriasant, and went to the cargo hold and looked inside, there were tanks of smuggled Bacta for the Black Saber, the injured needed to be cured.

[Kin-Wan Pic.:Unnamed Planet:.Grassy Plateau]
Master Pic wrapped his Jawa cloak around him to hide the traditional Jedi robes beneath. Perhaps the multiple layers would have made another creature hot but Kin-Wan was always plagued by a slight chill having been used to the unforgiving heat of Tatooine.
His yellow eyes gazed out over the multiple Plateaus with their long waving grasses. The world was an uncharted one on the outskirts of the galaxy, home to a small population of sentient beings that chose seclusion than to be absorbed into the republic. The Jawa was becoming slightly uneasy that no sign had appeared of their presence here. The planet was covered in plateaus with large canyons separating them. Because all the water rushed into these canyons the indigenous people had inhabited the crevices. For this reason it was difficult to catch sight of any civilization from his position, as their kind rarely came up to the grassy plateaus, and for good reason.
A deep rumble of thunder made the Jawa smile and the two glowing orbs of his eyes suddenly disappear. There were few things this Jawa loved more than thunderstorms and rain, which is somewhat unusual for a creature born and raised on a planet devoid of water, on which there are never storms of any kind other than sand storms. Dark thunderclouds littered the mid-day sky in every direction. Occasionally a bolt of lightning would rain down from the skies and crack as it came in contact with the ground, but for the most part it was refined to the sky.
The Jawa was here of official duty. Word had it that the Sith had established themselves on this isolated planet, which caused an incredible amount of distress in Kin's heart. He had come here as a padawan and experienced a rain storm for the first time. The people here were somewhat withdrawn, but peaceful. The entire world was lush with the force, and he felt sick at the thought that it might be pushed towards the dark side. He had come to investigate along with a Jedi Knight who he was tasked with watching and evaluating, in case he might be made a master. He ought to be arriving any moment now.
Something tingled in the Jawa's mind, and in a flash his lightsaber was ignited and he force jumped above his ship, a lightning bolt colliding with the saber, cracking with energy before it dissipated.
"E-43," Kin-Wan said in Jawese to the atromech droid who whirred in response. "Keep shields on full while I am away." A series of robotic noises issued and Kin-Wan heard the shield charge up. It was better to be safe than sorry in this storm, his ship was a perfect target. "Now where is that boy?" He asked himself, gazing skyward.

[Ed&Rayne.:Earth-Orbit:.Ship]
"Hey Ed! Didja see that? It was some kinda battle and-"
Ed cut his brother off by raising his hand.
"Yes, I saw. I'm just glad master was asleep or he'd have had us dodging around the laser fire...... again."
Ed sighed for what seemed like the umpteenth time on this trip.
"Well, I guess you'd better wake him, I'll set us down somewhere quiet and deserted."
Rayne went to wake their master from his drunken stupor while Ed muttered to himself, turning on the cloak and beginning a descent in to the planet's atmosphere.

[Dan.:Earth:.Dan's Room] Dan had been too tired to stay up later thinking about what happened. As soon as he got home he had crashed on his bed too exhausted, especially considering the blood loss. He had only stayed up long enough to clean the wound and wrap it then go to bed. The next morning he though it had all been a dream, but his stained bandages said otherwise.
He walked to the mirror, wondering if he had somehow been slipped some kind of hallucinogenic drug. Beneath the mirror was his dresser, and he pulled out the drawer where he kept all his winter clothes during the summer. He had outgrown a lot of them already, but there was an old black turtleneck he'd gotten for christmas that he didn't wear because he thought it made him look like some kind of cliche 'artist' smoking pot in a open word espresso shop. Still, he had no choice but to slip the thing over his head despite the summer heat, because otherwise people would think he tried to commit suicide. He sighed as he slipped the black turtleneck over the top half of him, and went down to the kitchen to get some breakfast before walking out the back door to start on his walk to school.
So what now? He wondered to himself as he kicked a pine cone down the sidewalk. Something amazing happened last night, unless I finally lost it. But what do I do? Tell someone? Go out on an adventure to try to find the... He couldn't bring himself to say Jedi or Sith, it was just too impossible. I mean, how would they even be real? What, is George Lucas psychic? He was debating whether or not he was actually entirely insane, and if he wasn't what he should even do. No matter what happened, I have to get to school... So there's no point in even thinking about it till later. Maybe everything will just work itself out.
He sighed, glancing over at an empty driveway where a few remains of autumn's fallen leaves lay stuck to the pavement in a depressed manner. He entertained the notion for a minute of what it might be like if this was all true, of what it would be like to actually be a Jedi. He smiled to himself at his own stupidity as he waved his finger through the air, imagining the leaves floating around in a force whirlwind.
And thats exactly what they did. He froze for a second, as they blew about exactly as he had imagined. Suddenly though he was overtaken by a fit of laughter at how easily he could be fooled by his own imagination. He continued on his way down the street.

{Ed&Rayne~Earth~A Field}
Ed returned to the field the ship was in, after having been to town. He had found a machine that dispensed the local currency and, with just a little application of the force, gained enough money to sort some plain-clothes for his brother, his master and himself. Ed saw his brother in the field, then saw what he was doing and sighed. He marched over to his twin and glared.
"And just what do you think you're doing?"
Rayne, his eyes still focused in front of him, replied.
"What does it look like? I'm training, I'm trying to get more control over my powers, but no matter what I do I can't make that stone move!"
Ed held back a laugh, instead voicing a suggestion.
"Look past to rock, Rayne, look beyond it."
Rayne frowned and looked, then gasp and hurriedly dropped his arm. The dozen uprooted trees in the distance dropped to the ground with a crash.
"You know you're just supposed to concentrate on your melee skills."
"Well you know you're supposed to stay away from melee skills, but you still train, don't you?"
"....Just try to be more inconspicuous, okay? You know why we're here, we don't want to draw attention to ourselves."
Ed fixed Rayne with a penetrating stare.
"We're just here to scout, do some recon, right? Alright, don't look at me that way! I'll train in a more hidden spot, okay?"
Ed threw Rayne a bag of clothes and turned to enter the cloaked ship. He knew where it was from a sense outside the normal five, a sense linked to the force.

.:[Tanmar::Unnamed Planet:.Grassy Plateau]:.
"Boy?" Tanmar spoke with a chuckle up towards his master. His loud gravely voice had no problem being heard even through the rain. His shoeless rock feet shook the ground as he came to a halt. His brown jedi cloak billowed in the wind and rain but he made no effort to hold it around himself, he was always quite warm, he only kept the hood up to keep the water from his eyes. Steam emerged from the craters on his back as rain drops fell into them. He looked over the beautiful planet and he had a vague flash of memory depicting his own grassy home world, but he didn't want to lose concentration so he returned to matters at hand.
He had been puzzled at being referred to as a boy as somehow Tanmar got the feeling that he and his master were around the same age, no matter though. "... I want to assure you master Kin-Wan that even though the jedi have been admitting more masters in order to combat the siths numbers I encourage you not to lower your standards for me, I will not fail" Tanmar said this looking off into the distance, his voice deeper than usual, very serious for a moment. It was a momentous feeling being at the precipice of something you had strived your whole life to obtain, Tanmar thought of all he had accomplished, all he would be able to teach, and all he would be able to protect. He knew he could contemplate it later though. His serious thinking ended abruptly as he turned back to his master atop the ship with a rocky grin on his fierce face "Shall we go!?"

[Mireille - Earth - Diner downtown]
With a large yawn, stirring her coffee lazily with one hand, the other hand tracing down the rows of lettering in the morning paper. The was a small article about something going wrong with and experiment at the airbase that was close by, but other than that nothing really caught the brunette's interest. A plate of potato pancakes with a side of bacon was set down in front of her a moment later, the girl nodding her thanks to the waitress behind the counter.
Mireille looked out the long set of windows to her left, a small sigh leaving her. It was a very big bummer that most of her college friends had left for the summer, and here she was, stuck working most of the sunny days away.
"At least I have jockboy and girly to hang out with." She said mostly to herself as she turned back to her food.

((Good question. For the most part things will probably be centered in the Star Wars galaxy, and Coruscant will probably serve as a hub. But what world we will most likely be on is hard to say, since we'll probably be shifting about as different conflicts ensue. Right now though the majority of the characters seem to be focused on Earth.
Sorry ahead of time guys for the super huge post X_X I have a lot of character development to do in a short time so I don't hold people up. This was originally a fic that I adapted, so thats why.))
[Josh and Emma.:Earth:.Forest]
Their blades crossed with a crack and Josh quickly turned around again, using the momentum of the movement and his well-toned muscles to send a crushing blow at his opponent, who despite her small feminine frame was able to match his strength and defend herself from the blow.
There was a moist splintering sound as his tree-limb broke against his opponent and exploded across the forest floor and splashed as they fell into the nearby stream. He growled in frustration, chunking the broken stick into the distance. His opponent rolled her eyes, throwing her own ‘weapon’ on the ground. “I don’t see why you’re getting mad. I told you that it was going to break. For crying out loud Josh, it was a water-logged rotten pine,” Emma said, crossing her arms in frustration at the boy’s immaturity.
Josh didn’t say anything but focused on calming himself down. He’d picked the stick because it obviously was larger and weighed more, and he was convinced that was all he needed. He’d been beaten by Emma countless times, and beaten her in turn but every time he always got pissed. They had been best friends since elementary school, where they had met at a martial arts class. Both of them had a passion for competition, and as one of them discovered some new sport they would share it with the other. In fact they shared everything they did, playing the same video games, and watching the same movies and T.V. shows. They had shared in the same fads in elementary school, traded beanie babies and pokemon cards, gone to watch the Star Wars movies together and had even pretended to be Jedi at one point, coming in these woods with their plastic lightsabers and dueling each other.
They had joined a fencing class a long time ago, because they had enjoyed their little play-duels so much. As they entered high school they had joined the same teams, Emma becoming the first female wrestler at their school. Josh was her only real peer, as the other boys shied away or tried to treat her like a ‘girl.’
But Josh had never seen her as below him. In fact he considered no one but her his equal. Growing up he had never given her any different treatment because of her sex, almost completely ignoring it until puberty began where he suddenly began to notice her exquisite curves and rapidly swelling feminine assets.
“Stop being such a bad sport,” She said with an irritated sigh, knowing that he’d ignore her like he had all the other hundred times.
It just made him angrier she could so calmly shrug off a defeat and told him to not take things so seriously. She never seemed to take anything too seriously, from their little fights to the occasional advance he would make. She shrugged off each without a care, ignoring them as if they had never happened, as if they were entirely insignificant.
“Come on,” She said, giving him a rather hard shove on the shoulder as she ran past him, leaping in a single bound over the small river.
He chased after her, leaping over the river himself though as his foot made contact with the soft ground it gave and nearly sent him falling into the stream. He managed to avoid the embarrassment of getting soaked and took off after her. He had to catch up or she would get to the tree first and he’d have to catch up.
They had found a fantastic magnolia tree sitting in the middle of the forest surrounded by pines that was fantastic for climbing. They had even built a makeshift tree house near the top, a place for them to rest after their inevitable race to reach the highest branch first.
Emma had stopped though, standing just at the end of the path they had beaten during their regular races to the tree. There was an unusual amount of light around her considering the dense foliage, and as he got closer he could see that several trees had been either broken in half or had toppled over. “Josh,” She said, moving her neck as if she wanted to look back at him, but couldn’t.
As he walked up to her side he could see it, with their tree broken in half over it like a sprung mouse trap. “What do you think it is?” Josh said as he glanced over at Emma, whose eyes were still locked on it. “Do you think its something from the air-base? Some kind of secret project?”
“I don’t know,” Emma said, although she didn’t think this was just some kind of new aircraft design. “They would have been here by now it if was, they would have this place crawling with military officials- Oh my god.” She said, her eyes widening. “They’re probably still inside!” She bounded forward, and even now Josh couldn’t help but notice how she looked like a doe as she sprinted.
“Wait Emma,” He said reaching out his hand. But she was already struggling to pull off the cockpit hood.
“Josh, help me.”
He quickly jumped up on top of the unknown craft, noting the black marks that seemed to signal some kind of smoke damage that covered the hull. He began to help her with taking the hood off. It quickly popped off with their combined strength and smoke drifted out of the hold. They were surprised to hear coughing, and Josh reached in to grab the figure of a man, pulling him out as Emma went in to pull out the boy who was coughing.
As Josh lay the man down near the craft he got a good look at him. The man was burned badly, and he felt his stomach lurch as he was about to throw up. He reached his fingers out to a small patch of skin that wasn’t seared, and felt for a pulse. There was none. “Oh my god,” Josh whispered, surprised at the shaking in his voice. Come on, snap out of it, be a man.
He glanced over the man’s body, noticing that he was wearing some kind of robe. Something reflected the sunlight. “Emma?” he said, reaching out to take the metal cylinder, pressing his thumb on the small switch. The lightsaber buzzed to life, confirming his suspicions. “Oh my god.”
“The Sith,” he heard a raspy voice say turning to look at the younger Jedi who was grabbing Emma’s sleeve. “Listen,” he said in earnest, and Emma locked eyes with him in sympathy, completely unfazed by his face, caked in blood or his struggling breaths.
“Its ok,” she said soothing, running her fingers through his hair lovingly despite the blood. “Rest.”
The young Jedi frowned, and she slowly put his head down as his hand slid down her arm. His breathing increased for a moment, becoming frantic, before it finally weakened again, and stopped.
“Emma,” he said, wincing as his voice was shaking again. “This can’t be real, this… This can’t be real!”
“Well I’m pretty sure it’s not a dream,” She said, moving her hand down to his belt and taking the lightsaber there.
“What are you doing?”
“I’m taking his lightsaber.”
“Emma, he’s dead.”
“Exactly, he doesn’t need it,” she ignited the blade, making a note of its length and silver color before turning it off and putting it in her pocket. “Didn’t you hear him,” She said when she noticed his critical gaze. “There’s a Sith. We need to protect ourselves.” She ran over to the fighter and began to search it for something of use.
“But Emma, this is impossible. This is all stuff from a movie, it can’t be real.” He didn’t know what to say, this was all too much to absorb and he was still convinced this was some kind of trick or a dream. In shock, he silently followed her example, slipping the blue lightsaber into his pocket. He stared around perplexed before his eyes glanced up to the sky, which was suddenly seemed changed.
“Come on, we need to get to school,” She said, packing up a spare lightsaber she found and a blaster.
[Kin-Wan Pic.:Unnamed Planet:.Grassy Plateau -> Canyon] ((Oh, are we saying that he was your characters Master? Ok XD I like it.))
"I have full faith in your abilities my old padawan," Kin-Wan said with a smile, though it was impossible to tell except for his glowing eyes. "I do not doubt your quality as a Jedi Knight, nor your inevitable acceptance as a Jedi Master." He turned to face the nearby Canyon now, and leapt off his starship. Kin-Wan had always been the fatherly type, but as a Jedi was of course forbidden to father a child. Instead his children were his younglings, and even more so his padawans.
"But now is not the time for tender feelings and assurances," He said to the volcano-like creature. "We must press on to find the truth of this matter. There is something foul in the air already. Things do not bode well." He moved forward, a column of the force extending from him to push the grass out of his way so that he might see and walk. He was careful to to push too hard should he break the stems.
He continued down the side of the cliff, and could now see some of the buildings, though he could not see any of the indigenous people walking about, a solemn expression crossed his glowing eyes. He continued down the small path that ran alongside the cliff down into the depths of the canyon and began to follow a sandstone road that ran along side a river. The capital city had undergone some changes it seemed. Several pyramids had been erected, glorious rubies completing their peaks.
((The civilization is much like ancient Egypt/Greek. They have a ton of statues and pyramids.))
The gems held no beauty for Master Pic though. They left him feeling uneasy, for there was something sinister about them. The city was desolate, but he could smell the stench of struggle and combat. He glanced into a temple that had once housed a gigantic statue bearing the resemblance of one of their gods. The statue had been torn from its throne, its pieces dashed across the barren temple floor.
Kin-Wan turned to look down an alley between two buildings, spotting something lying on the floor. He moved over to it, and stopped taking a moment to close his eyes in respect. What lay there was the remains of one of the rodent-like inhabitants of this world. It had been struck several times by a blaster, and all that remained was a charred corpse.
[Josh & Emma.:Earth:.Classroom]
"What a f**..." Josh murmured as Dan walked into the literature class. "Look at him with that sweater." He shifted about in his football uniform, trying to ignore the smell as he hadn't washed it in a few days. Emma didn't answer him, she just rolled her eyes as she glanced through the pages of the book they were reading nonchalantly. She had learned to ignore Josh's comments about Dan.
"So why do you think Allende decides to end the novel with the words "Barabas came to us from the sea?"" The class was almost entirely silent, some of them were asleep, others frantically glancing over their spark notes because they hadn't read the night before. Its the end of the cycle. Duh. Josh thought to himself, though he didn't raise his hand.
But Dan, of course, rose his. "Its the end of the final cycle of the novel. The House of Spirits is filled with cycles that repeat themselves over and over. Each generation follows a similar cycle to the last with slight alterations. Occasionally the chain is broken, but for the most part its not. Each one of the women finds and is denied love and is forced into a loveless marriage, except Alba who is raped. Similar characteristics of older characters repeat themselves in newer ones as if they're continuously being reborn. The whole thing is filled with repetition and minaiture cycles. As for the larger cycle of the novel, that takes the entirety of three generations to complete, and Allende refers to the beginning of Clara's story to finish the circle."
Some of the other students looked over at Dan or murmured to each other about what he had said. Russel simply replied with a "I think everyone agrees then, or at least I do. Super-good Dan." Super good was a term that was pretty much only reserved for Dan's comments, which made Josh sick. It wasn't like he was doing anything special. The rest of the class Josh spent either sleeping, or throwing paper airplanes around the room, simply because the disrespect seemed to piss Dan off a little. Occasionally he would talk to Mr. Russell and joke around with him. He might not do anything in his class but that didn't mean that Mr. Russell wasn't an awesome guy. At least he was laid back, not an uptight a*****e like that Dan kid.
[Dan.:Earth:.Classroom]
Dan tried to ignore the planes flying around the room. Instead ran his eyes over the pages of the book again to try and figure out how he was going to write a fictional chapter for it for his final at the fast-approaching end of the semester. He glanced up, seeing Mr. Russell and Josh laughing about something Josh had said. Though Josh obviously had some kind of weird grudge against him, Dan rarely ever gave Josh the time of day. However, he hated it when him and Russell started to talk. Russell was his favorite teacher, and he couldn't stand it when he joked around with a kid who basically acts like a douche to everyone and doesn't take his class seriously. Lit class was like Dan's church, he couldn't stand it when people refused to contribute or didn't take it seriously.
His concentration was broken though as the bell rung, and he quickly gathered his stuff up to leave. "Mir will be waiting for us... We should tell her what happened," He heard Emma, Josh's only friend, say to him as they passed. He didn't understand why that girl was his friend. She seemed like a pretty nice intelligent person to him.

[Mireille - Earth - In front of the High School]
Mirei adjusted her sunglasses, looking quite comfortable in her blue Suzuki as she waited for Emma and Josh. Reaching over she turned up the air conditioning, tilting her head to watch out the window as the students poured out of the school.

[Emma & Josh.:Earth:.In Front of High School]
"Shotgun," Emma said as she ran around to the other side of the car. "s**t," Josh said to himself, glaring at her as she took her seat. He quickly slid into the back, slamming the car door a bit too hard. "You aren't going to tell her are you, you seriously don't think she'll believe us. I mean, this could all be part of an experiment or something we don't know that its... Y'know..." "Shut up Josh," Emma said and she unzipped her backpack and started to sift through it. "Hey Mir."
